Moving the fences isn't an "easy" solution.

If we got the old bats back it wouldn't be so bad. I went to the college home run derby last year, and they hit many home runs many guys used the old bats though. You can hit home runs in TDA but with the combo of the bats the balls and the wind blowing in they just don't go out. If we had the old bats TDA would be fine, a mistake pitch ball can go out, but the stadium would play just enough bigger to take away some offense and give a slight edge to teams who can pitch and play defense but not so much that a team like UCLA would win the CWS.

It would cost a lot of money to move the fences in, but I say F it and bring them in.

To compare the box is only 5 feet shorter at the foul poles, 10 feet shorter in the power alleys and a whopping 3 feet shorter to dead center.

Must be a dead air park. Old Busch Stadium was like that - the place where fly balls went to die. When Whitey Herzog left they brought in the fences.

I'm watching the interview with the NCAA guy. I have to say that as a baseball fan first and foremost, I'd have to say that I really don't see this as a problem or issue since the very best kids sign out of a high school and college guys who get drafted and signed learn how to play the pro game.

So, I don't see what the fuss is. This isn't a training ground for MLB so I guess you might as well go back to the nintendo days of aluminum bats and go ahead and put balls in that carry it will probably save arms.

Timing was perfect with that ncaa guy. The ball in right center is a double if not a home run in the blatt. Things need to change. Great play by the cf but let's be real, that ball was held up by the wind and dead balls and dead bats.

ESPN is going to have to be the one that forces the NCAA to make changes. They can't be happy with the ratings for this.

the problem is that even in the most pitcher friendly MLB and MiLB parks they still hit more than a .136 home runs a game average. That with this year and last year (not including this game) is with home runs. THAT IS HORRIBLE.

Why do you keep refering to Nintendo?
Is that all you know?

MLB is not played like this crap in Omaha being played right now.
We don't want to see homerun derby, but this shite is the opposite end of the spectrum, and equally as bad.

STFU!
