Does the O line have question marks to be answered?

Yes of course they do.

But does that mean we shouldnt trust kelly to fix it?

Absolutely yes.

They’ll likely tinker a bit more before deciding who the best 5 are. Moore at center and the two tackles are pretty much locks to start. The two guard spots are wide open for the taking. Hopefully, two guys separate themselves over the next two weeks.

Thompson held his own against Michigan and Ohio State last year. He will be more than fine

Moscona has been breaking down the wins, losses, and draws of each one on one rep

It's a major concern. I've seen a lot of guys around practice saying Thompson has had it rough and so far hasn't looked like the transfer they thought he'd be. Could just be an adjustment period for him but that doesn't sound good honestly.

I've been warning yall since the Spring of the in-coming OL Shite Show.

So here we are in Camp and all the practice reports from everywhere saying they STILL CAN'T RUN THE FOOTBALL!

Haven't we heard this before?

Will Campbell, Garrett Dellinger, Miles Frazier and Emery Jones in the starting OL lineup last season with Caden Durham, Josh Williams and Kaleb Jackson as the "Good Enough" RB's, but we CAN'T RUN THE FOOTBALL!

The Definition of Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.

Sylvester is back again as the OL Coach and why do you expect different results.

Semjase is an expert. At everything. Saban would not have dropped any games with him on staff. Word is though, Nick was scared of the Semen (that’s what the pros call him) taking his job.

We should all consider ourselves lucky to witness one of the greatest internet douchebags of all the time.

Except for 2019 and 2023, the past several seasons have had the defense shine the first couple weeks of fall camp. If the O Line is still struggling on game week and hasn’t evened the scale a bit, then I will be concerned. Right now, it’s just the natural attrition of the Defense being ahead early.

We’ve been seeing the best DL we will see all year since practice started.

Am I concerned? Not yet.
Am I anxious? Yes.

Practicing against (what will be proven to be) an elite DL will help our OL tremendously.

Yep, just feel like it’ll take some time to gel with this unit.

Will be interesting to see how they do against Clemson’s TJ Parker and Peter Woods who are projected round 1-2 draft picks in 2026.

All the hype on Clemson's DL reminds me of LSU's OL from last year. NFL scouts loved 'em but they didn't really play at an elite level. Clemson got ran on by bad teams all year last year.

Yes, I'm having trouble sleeping at night, and also focusing at work. This is the worst feeling. I don't know how I'll go on.

OP just ignores actual results on the field last year against a weak schedule.

I am literally listening to Blake Ruffino right now saying that despite like 7 TFLs in the 11 on 11, Berry, Durham, and even Jackson made ridiculous cuts and bounced 1 long run apiece and took it to the house. Heard Hunt or maybe Moscona earlier say that even when the offense loses plays and puts themselves in bad positions, they’re so damn explosive everywhere at the skill positions 2-3 deep, they eventually hit big plays.

I don’t think Nuss has to run as much as everybody thinks he does. He just has to make quick and good decisions, and we are gonna score. Get the ball out fast to one of our playmakers and let them do their thing. Or even throw it away. As long as he’s not taking multiple sacks or throwing picks, this offense is gonna score, and score a lot.

And the OL holding their own in 1 on 1s has me less worried. And there’s always Mobenga, Curne, and Echols that can break into the lineup. They always start with the veterans with the 1s in the spring and fall because they know what they’re doing. Know what’s expected from them in the drills. But the starting 5 could look completely different by Clemson than it did Day 1. Especially after the 1st day of full pads, they’ll start shifting guys around as they see fit. Plenty of time to get it figured out, assuming the talent is there. I’m relatively confident it is. But maybe more so that we could just be good enough to overcome it.

I made a mistake. Blake said there were 5 TFLs and 2 runs for no gain. And 3 explosive runs for touchdowns. He wasn’t jumping for joy or anything, but said as far as the run game goes, yesterday was by far the best the OL has done. And he said they were rotating fresh DL in on every play. I don’t know enough about his evaluation skills, but he did play OL. Not even close to time to panic.
