Yes the targeting call was really poor, but

A. You have a loser mindset

B. No, the SEC does not need LSU more than LSU needs the SEC

dude, i bought "MoveToTheBig12.com" in 2011, k, this shite is about so much more than one call.

oh ok battered wife. well you just sit here and take your Irish kisses then. Ill go get your sunglasses.

fair point. the SEC doesnt "need" LSU. but we dont "need" a god damn thing from them either. if we want to "owe" our conference something, lets go to the B1G and adapt their academic standards, let's learn how to actually run a world class university.

if a founding member of the SEC stepped away, not just the most successful CFB program over the past 2 decades but a CURRENT top 5 team, our demands wouldn't even matter, the answer would be "yes". the B1G would kill to get a foothold in the south, it would be a shot across the bow like we've never seen.

EDIT: ftr, Im not saying we should leave, I dont want to, but we need to stand up for ourselves, the SEC treats us as if were nothing but fodder for bama. frick them, frick that, if we need to burn these c.unts to the ground and walk away real cool like The Rock while it blows up behind us, then so be it. but things need to change, and they need to change right now.

It's stupid to leave the SEC...we just need to get organized, pool money, and have more money to buy recruits...just do it better than Bama...

Are you saying you bought that site in 2011, before 1-9-12, when we were historically good and the kings of the conference?

And do you honestly believe the SEC makes these decisions consciously in order to inhibit LSU?

So you’re saying you think the SEC needs LSU more than the other way around?

Suppose this exact same thing happened to Notre Dame.

Do they agree to abide by the "official review" of the conference their opponent belongs to?

If they look at the tape themselves after the fact and decide the wrong call was made, do they tell everyone to pound sand and start the player the next game?

Honest questions.

its less than one hour from the SEC office to bamas campus. it is a building full of bama grads doing everything they can to prop up and shield bama. until we move those to NYC or LA or even Atlanta, this will never stop.

we only have 1 shite program here. Vanderbilt. its essentially a free win, a week off. know when the last time we played them was?

2010.

bama has played them twice since then. and the frickign shcedules theyve given us only gets worse from there.

our SECE games since 2008

2018 = 2 UGA and 22 Florida
2017 = 21 Florida and Tennessee
2016 = 16 Florida and Missouri
2015 = 8 Florida and SCar
2014 = Florida and UK
2013 = 9 UGA and 17 Florida
2012 = 3 SCar and 12 Florida
2011 = 17 Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky
2010 = 14 Florida, Vandy, Tennessee
2009 = 1 UGA, 18 Florida, Vandy
2008 = 7 UGA, 11 Florida, SCar

bamas SECE games since 2008

2018 = Missouri and Tennessee
2017 = Vandy and Tennessee
2016 = UK and 9 Tennessee
2015 = 8 UGA and Tennessee
2014 = Florida and Tennessee
2013 = UK and Tennessee
2012 = Missouri and Tennessee
2011 = 12 Florida, Vandy, Tennessee
2010 = 7 Florida, 19 SCar, Tennessee
2009 = 22 SCar, UK, Tennessee
2008 = 3 UGA, UK, Tennessee

we played 15 ranked teams.
they played 7.

despite zero history between us, Florida somehow became out permanent opponent. theyve been ranked 10 of our 11 games.

bama has Tennessee as their permanent opponent. UT has been ranked in 1 of their 11 games.

bama is gifted wins, we're put through the wringer, and then, after that, we face off.

No indeed. LSU is not leaving the SEC and only people with quitter mindsets think that crap. shite happens. It was a bad call. Cant be appealed. Quit crying over shite that cant be changed.

Do I think offciating in the SEC is skewed to favor Alabama...makes me wonder sometimes. But you dig in and fight. You dont get punched in the mouth and run.

Anyone calling for that is a dumbass . Period. Best conference , with the most weight in terms of SOS, as well as the best venues to tailgate.

We would also get half the usual exposure.

I misspoke there actually. I bought it in 2009, after the P7 INT game vs bama. because it wasn't just that one INT, the game was flat out stolen. by the SEC. for bama. and it wasnt just about losing, it was about the literal safety of our players.

the game started with Jordan getting a textbook spear in the chest that knocked him out of the game, all while ritter stood there with a clear and direct view. no flag.

ritter would later have a clear and direct view of P7s INT. "no catch".

despite this (and at least one more obvious fixed call Ill update with here in a second, one thats even worse than these) it was still a 6 point game in the 4th.

here, bama fair catches a punt on their 46.

1st and 10 on the 46.

ingram carried twice for almost nothing, setting up this 3rd and 6 from roughly the 49

greg (#12) keeps it, goes down exactly on the 50

they punt. ball is on the 50.

we rough the punter. 5 yard penalty. ball will now be on the 45.

oh, wait, no, sorry, i forgot, this is bama, so that 5 yard penalty is now good for 5 and 9/10ths.

CBS even correctly changed their graphic from "4th and 6" (the picture above) to "4th and inches" (the picture below). that cannot happen on a 5 yard penalty, it simply cant.

bama had JUST run the ball 3 times, twice with a heisman winner, and got 4 yards. going for it on 4th and 1 was no sure thing. and then, as if by magic, it suddenly wasnt 4th and 1 anymore. somehow.

quote:

And do you honestly believe the SEC makes these decisions consciously in order to inhibit LSU?

ALL of these things dont just happen, in one game, benefiting one side, every time, by chance or incompetence. these people know what theyre doing, and what theyre doing is cheating. for bama.

heres another run by Greg that same year (a title year, mind you, this was 2007, sabans first NC at bama), this time vs Auburn.

watch what the ref does.

he marks the spot with his left foot, but this play was a sneak, where every inch counts, so he goes ahead and changes the spot to his right foot, just to be sure.

and that was back when the refs at least had the decency to pretend. they dont even bother anymore, this fricking guy literally just stared at the flag to see where bama needed to get and then put the ball there

LSU = Urban Meyer
Can't handle the heat in the kitchen so run away with your tail between your legs.

Instead of whining about how you think Bama is receiving benefits... expect ]excellence and discipline from your players and coaching staff.
