our AD is going to drive season ticket holders to not renew
when you continually play good opponents on neutral sites that's like giving a big F U to the loyal season ticket holders, then you go and increase the price....I don't blame anyone who doesn't renew

EXACTLY!!!!!
I have 8 season tickets and I'm really not sure what I'm going to do. I'll probably end up keeping them, but the continuous pissing on the customer by the athletic department is getting pretty frustrating.
I've had my tickets since 98, and it seems like the administration has done nothing but alienate fans with things like:
- The gameday production instead the stadium blows. The replay boards are filled with ads, and they refuse to show any live cut-ins (update games) on the big boards during the ridiculous tv timeouts.
-The physical condition of the bathrooms inside the stadium are deplorable. They spent a ton of money refurbing the outside of the north endzone which is just for aesthetic value, but didn't do squat for the actual functioning parts inside.
-To piggyback on the above, it's a pain in the arse and disgusting to run out of paper towels/soap by the end of the first quarter.
-The concessions are terrible. Why not bring in Canes/caterer and upgrade this?
-The schedule blows. Next year we have a beautiful new addition to display, but instead of playing Wisconsin here, we open up at a neutral site. I know the arguement for the neutral site games..recruiting, money, etc. but in no way is it necessary, and how much money are they losing in bad will towards their biggest supporters?
And before you call me a fair weather fan, not only do I hold 8 season tickets, have missed maybe 2 home games in the last 15 years, and usually make 2-3 road games per year. After seeing how well Georgia's stadium was run this year, it really opened my eyes to how bad things are in Tiger Stadium.

Not really. Keep supporting the goofball and you get continued mediocrity. LSU needs to feel it in the checks and balances to make the move everyone knows will better the program. Less is now 3 loss Less and he sucks.

What home game next year will you not be able to walk up and get "good" seats minutes before kickoff?
Alabama and who else? If LSU has a bad season prior to the Bama game you can likely get those as well, but I wouldn't bank on it.
One thing about the capacity going up is I don't think there's an endless supply of people in the Baton Rouge area (or willing to travel) who will buy season tickets and spend all day at a game. I think there are a lot of people who do have tickets that would like to upgrade to better tickets. I just don't see the endless supply of potential ticket holders others say there are.

Exactly.....hell this year my in-laws have given me their lower bowl tickets to sell for most of the games and the only one I came even close to getting the price printed on the ticket was Florida. It's really absurd, and to think this won't turn into folks not renewing is crazy. But the absolute worst part of this is the feeling that the administration is just thumbing their nose at their customers. I usually make a couple decent sized donations to the athletic department during the year, but I couldn't even bring myself to give those bastards anything this year because of the perceived ungratefulness. I'm sure I'm not the only who feels this way.

Then explain selling out Season Tickets every year. There's zero doubt the demand is there, despite all the bitching and moaning. LSU is just too ingrained in people's blood for some mass exodus by the season ticket holder base.
BTW, I agree with plenty of the bitching and moaning, Game Day experience, suck arse opponents etc. I'm just saying none of that really matters until we DON"T sell every season ticket. Of course by then it may be too late to get the fan base back.

This may be coming to an end soon......This year I saw tons of season tickets for sale on the ticket exchange on this very board. I had an extra pair listed on craigslist and barely was able to recover my purchase cost. I have think these folks are tired of getting soaked on tickets.

I think it will be a hard sell next year. It's the perfect storm. The past is not the future.
Next year will be an increase in tickets, coming off a let down season, with a really weak home schedule, and every game they play being on TV.

This, plus a home schedule that is less exciting than if we switched with Southern.
This is the bigger problem. These stupid "neutral site" games are going to kill fan interest in the long run.

I will say that my restroom near us has NEVER NOT HAD toilet paper ... Ladies restroom ... now paper towels is another issue

We at least have jambalaya and Chick Fil A in our area ... friend in the NEZ was shocked when I told her that.

Not one argument from me here ...
We'll be renewing ... it's what our family does. The kids can bring a friend who has never been before ... teens don't really care; they just want the experience so at least our tickets typically end up being used.
Oh, well ...

Agree with all the bitching and we should bitch. Demand better. Accept no substitute. But, I will renew. I've got six in a great area of the stadium. I pay out the arse. But, for me and my family there is no substitute. Traffic sucks, bathrooms suck, concessions are horrible etc. etc. I agree. I agree.
But, I will be back and support My Tigers. I've been thru the Hallman years. It takes money to win. And, we have no choice. Should we expect better treatment for our cash outlay? Absolutely. Should we expect a better effort from the team? Absolutely. Look at the facts -- our ticket prices are relatively low when compared to Bama, Tenn, Fla etc.
LSU will continue to sell out. Don't renew your tickets and I guarantee you will regret it. I didn't renew my parking pass under Hallman in protest. I took my 6 long damn years to get it back and a relentless arse wife reminding me to stop making points on stupid shite like giving up a parking pass.
Yes -- I sent a letter to Joe Dean with my Acct # and the official stick it up your arse message. Felt good. Actually, felt really good. But, reality set in the next year. Walking from BFE even felt good the first couple times -- shite, I had a point to prove. Then, my feet starting hurting and I pretty much forgot the damn point I was trying to make mid way thru the next year. I also let 4 damn good tickets go in the letter exchange with Mr. Joe Dean. I lived in Houston and driving all the way to BR, paying money to support that BS was going to end. I ended up getting 6 great tickets and my pass back but let's just say it wasn't exactly a good exchange from a monetary perspective.
Bitch all you want verbally but think twice before enacting threat
