I was at the Ole Miss game when Trindon made that return. It was sweet to hear the ALL the wind come out of Ole Miss's sails. They had just scored and we had seats on the 50 yard line on the Ole Miss side. Everyone talking shite to us and then BOOM!!!! Trindon Holliday shut all those Ole Miss fricks up so we could enjoy the rest of the game!!!!

Never will forget it!!!

Geaux Tigers!

Here's that KO return, with Hawthorne's call...

Throw an underneath route to a guy when the other team is in the nickel and have that guy hook and lateral it to Trindon, that way he's getting the ball with about 10-15 yards of afterburn on.

We did that once in the Swamp against Florida in 08. I remember because that play happened right in front of me.

Eh he was fast but that's about it.

Should have never been returning kicks over PP.

I still think that if he were ever put on the special team defending field goal attempts, on the edge, he would be there about the same time as the holder catches the ball. Would have been super to see.

What I don't miss is the announcers going on about how small he is compared to Herm...and did you know how big of a baby Herm was?

He was too damn small to be used a lot. He went down too easy. Now in open space it was a different story.

People say this, but I never felt that was true. He put his shoulder down and got a tough yard or two from time to time. No, he wasn't a traditional between the tackles runner, but he wasn't exactly a 98 lb weakling.

No, I would take Skylar Green over Trindon anyday.

I love how he crosses his own 30 and the announcer says "this is over."

That is my favorite play TH made. He made me extremely nervous though, every time he went to catch a punt. He had way too many fumbles and mistakes when fielding punts.

Trindon Holiday is, hands down, the best player in all of the NCAA videogames. I loved him in real life, but basically he was like Bo Jackson fast in the game. You throw a pitch to the side, and he would house that bad boy. Perhaps I am thinking of this because NCAA 13 just came out this week, but man—TH was always my first team RB or 2nd and I'd sub him in.

On the field, he was def. a gamechanger and you hate to see that he wasn't used more often, even as a decoy. Do you remember how other teams would freak out as soon as he was on the field? I also always wanted to see Russell Shepard and TH on the field at the same time and run the option or some Wildcat variation. The speed those two possess would have been a SOB to defend. Maybe it happened once and I forgot or something, but it would've been a nice wrinkle...

and Geaux Trindon! Hoping Brazil can remind me of TH (and maybe play both ways).

He's a tough nail too! Did he not chase an interception once and brought down a guy twice his size? Can't remember what game it was.

He was greatly misused. 7 career receptions, he should have got at least 1 per game. His rushing went down hill over his 4 years also.

You can't tackle what you can't catch and if used properly he would have been chased much more than he would have been hitting people

"No, I would take Skylar Green over Trindon anyday."

I do agree with this, Skyler Green was more exciting and got a lot more touches. I always thought the goal should have been to use Trindon in a similar way to Skyler but it never happened. There were many plays left in the playbook that Trindon could have exploited. I never recall him catching a pass other then a swing pass, no quick pass, no quick slant, no screen, no out and in.
