He said this:

"When the QB calls the prescribed cadence, everybody hears the call." He did shut the guy up.

An LSU grad working at Michigan called in from ann Arbor. He asked if Les would get a home and home series with UM so he could see the Tigers live. Les said all the "good tradition, etc" stuff. Then, he said 'I don't know if I could take it!'

It was just a joking line about him coaching LSU v UM.

I'm glad Les owned that douchebag. How can you question any of our coaching up to this point. What a fricking douche.

there are some real arse hats out there.#1 team in the nation just about every facet of our team is clicking full speed and this jackhole wants to personally call out the coach in public. what a dumbass. I love Miles' swag. I wish we could get a real glimpse into what he says behind the scenes.

I immodestly say that for years I have been telling my fellow rantards that Les is one smart cookie.

But of course our focus must be on beating Tennessee, a fine and proud team on their home turf.

One of the things that comes across from Miles is just how much he really enjoys what he does. I haven't heard too many other coaches, if any at all, talking about the joy of being with their team during practice. I am sure most coaches actually do enjoy their jobs, for the most part, but there is just something special about Miles when he talks about his team.

I also really appreciate his great sense of humor and his willingness to "clown around." it makes him human, in the best sense of the word, and approachable. I think that has to be one of his great strengths and among the reasons why his players love him.

You do know that it is Les Miles' show, right?

I mean a guy from Tennessee comes to Baton Rouge on this particular night in this particular location and asks a questions about the 2 QB system... and not just any question, but a question about the "voice" differences of the two QB's (not their throwing style, spin on ball, timing, accuracy, etc) and Les answers back with a zinger that is right on the spot if you excuse the "cadence" reference.

I mean, this season is awesome and all, but I know a sales job when I see one.

Right...LSU is #1, 17-2 since 2010, 6-0, 3-0, but Les feels the need to plant a question???

I think not, but each to our own.
