Maybe it's because all we can do is speculate, but none of us have any real idea of whats going on behind closed doors.

I think Loston is gonna be our next Landry or Jones type Playmaker. I remember him playing in that Under Armor game, made a amazing pick. He also looked soild in the spring game and got the pick 6 from Lee.

Loston is moving to linebacker according to the coaching staff. I saw him shooting hoops and he looks huge. He will be a better Curtis Taylor.

How hard would you practice if you knew you were a redshirt and had 0 chance of playing that year?

Word was that he wouldn't move to LBer. I think he'd be good there, but I'd rather see his athleticism on full display at safety. He's probably too good in coverage to play LBer I think just based off the fact he has played safety for so long.

Hes only going to be a redshirt freshmen.

This. I mean damn, how many true freshman play in the SEC. Not a whole lot and he was hurt most of last year.

Unless he makes the switch to LB... he's got the build for it.

Not this shite again. First Chad Jones, now Craig Loston. LOSTON IS A SAFETY!!!

For being such a hotly pursued recruit, very little is being said about him at LSU
This could be said of about 5 different guys.

Sam Montgomery and quite a few others come to mind.

I love when fans project their own character flaws onto others...

I won't be too encouraged about him if Jai Eugene starts in front of him.

Sam Montgomery gets talked about all the time. I'd say Davenport was a big recruit that isn't talked about much.

The team may be doing whats right for the kid, rather than what could immediately help. The surgery issue along with possibly some academic acclaimation to college; They may be focusing on the future rewards the kid will bring. I still think he gets alot of time this year. I hope so, in my mind, I keep seeing him playing at the AA game a really looking like an outstanding, aggressive player.
