Why should I?? The coaches obviously don't.

14 seconds left in the half with the clock stopped, and we go for a field goal rather than take a shot, or two, into the end zone.

Nuff said.

Statistically, he'll be a bottom quarter (12-16) SEC QB during his LSU career.Although he won't play on Sundays, I imagine he'll be a success in life in the career of his choice. He's a bright, personable giy.

AJ is what he is...a bottom tier SEC QB who would make a great Back Up...

sincere kid gives a big effort, he is limited by lack of true talent....

Before the halfway point of the year the coaches didn't trust AJ to throw over the middle. You've probably forgotten that. As the year wore on it became obvious that AJ was executing more and more of the offense.

Against A&M AJ had a ton of great plays. A lot of them were running plays, but he had some very good passing plays and only one terrible play. Early in the year he'd have five terrible plays per game. The one stinker was that sneaky fullback route in the right flat. It was wide open, and would have been a huge gainer, but AJ flat missed it. He converted several third down passes, which hardly ever happened earlier in the year. One was about a 12 yard seam route to Diarse; another was a short, over the middle, throw to Dickson. He had that gorgeous deep throw to Dupre, and although it was not completed, the go route that drew the targeting was wrll thrown.

I rewatched the game yesterday, and there was a lot to like about AJ's performance. You can run on about 107 yards, but the coaches shut down the passing game in the second half, or he would have had more.

I don't believe that, but if true, maybe that's why Miles has very gradually increased the young QB's responsibilities.

AJ is never going to be All SEC level, but I believe he has made big improvement this year, and if we have to rely on him in 2015, he will be a capable QB and game manager.

Hopefully Harris will get his head out his arse and man up. Although I like AJ and would be confidant of a good season next year with him at QB, we would be a championship team with a Brandon Harris at the wheel - but only if he commits to working his butt off.

Bleacher Report QUOTED that, LSU UNDER MILES the QB development has been ABYSMAL. After watching Miles this year we can see why!!! BH would be a lot farther along than AJ if he had been given the equal playing time. Auburn game I hear about often, When BH was benched and AJ came in HE DID NO BETTER and BH did not deserved to be replaced as the Starter. Miles PUT BH under center, the kid at LSU and High School never took a sack under center but from the shotgun BUT WHEN AJ came in for him guess what MILES HAD AJ IN the shotgun(WONDER WHY)

No- he Looked pathetic at start of game= A) didnt work very hard to fix the simple stuff (the handful of short pitch and catch routes which he should have practiced till he could throw them blindfolded) or b) is generally a bad player... Either way...talent issue or lazy/ entitled attitude---- My verdict on Jennings is in- I've defended he and the coaches choices long enough.

Not at all. Miles has handled this quarterback situation terribly. I feel bad for Harris. I hope he sticks around. Unfortunately, this is Jennings team going forward in Miles' mind.

I don't blame Jennings at all for this season any more.

He is put in a system not fit to utilize his talents.
Dual threat QB running pro style offense.

We have no identity.

Jennings can run, but still isn't a competent passer. Running QB's are a dime a dozen. Finding one who can throw adequately appears to be impossible at LSU

not really in the passing game. what i did like was the quote before the game about him admitting the passing struggles has been his fault. He knows he needs work and i have no doubt the kid will bust his arse for the program, but that doesnt mean he will ever be good in the passing game. So far he is still a career 50 % passer and cant make some of the easier throws.

I can assure you these things do not describe Anthony Jennings.

que?

Harris was playing out of the shotgun against auburn. You guys seriously need to watch the games. We didnt run the two tight formation once against auburn. We reverted back to that because it kept winning us games, the coaches werent wrong until they didnt try to change things up against arky when it clearly wasnt working.
