I shouldn't have ever got my hopes up, but honestly feels like masterful trolling on players parts with all the buildup. Guice did similar last year, although didn't drag it out nearly as much.

Kudos to the kid, and I'd probably take the same opportunity to do the same if I was in that position, but damn I feel trolled.

Anyone that thought he was coming back was fooling themselves. Simple as that.

Then grow a pair for allowing yourself to feel trolled by a 20 year old

Trolled? Maybe he was on the fence and used all the time he had available to make his decision. It's not always about YOU, the fan.

he didn't troll. He really wanted to come back but in the end, he couldn't risk it.

Exactly.

DW also knew what he was doing toying around with those folks on social media too. I'm fine with the decision though. Always assumed it would be this.

The guy was torn obviously. Be thankful that he was seriously considering staying.
If he wasn't he would've declared weeks ago.

Quit thinking this had anything to do with trying to string the fans along.

You trolled yourself if you thought he was coming back.

No, we didn't truly expect him back.

We would have loved it, sure. But lets be honest with ourselves, Devin gave us a lot, he has absolutely earned the right to be a first round draft pick and he made a great choice.

Why?
Nothing was a given.
He’s a thoughtful young man who was obviously torn in some ways. He is doing the smart thing.
Good luck Devin!

Get over yourself he wasn't trolling you. It was a tough decision for him and he weighed his options. He wanted to come back, but couldn't pass up the money. I don't blame him one bit and I wish him luck in the NFL.

Nah.

He was always going pro, he was just enjoying the process.
