You do realize the coaches that you are disappointed to see leave are the guys who Aleva presided over hiring in the first place, right?

Then take his balls out of your mouth long enough to stop giving him credit for a national championship. He cowered away from hiring Herman, and went to O, without much of a search. Orgeron ended up working out brilliantly, but let's not pretend like Alleva had him pegged as the best possible candidate to coach LSU all along.

but my point is there is nothing Woodward has done yet to sell any of us on

Well, read my first post I made in this thread. That's why I said, get back to me after the coaching hires have been made.

This board is bipolar as frick. Any mention of Alleva a year ago was pure hatred, now he’s the reason we won the NC. Give me a fricking break.

The more I think about it the less I’m worried. Woodward isn’t gonna backdown from outbidding whoever he and O target.

Exactly. You just know that Alleva would try to recoup the money paid to O by making subpar assistant hires. Given how critical Aranda and Brady were this year, that would be devastating to future teams

As soon as Alleva would have got the ESPN app alert on his phone about Beckham's money he would have suspended Orgeron, canceled the white house trip, and hand delivered the trophy to Dabo at the church of his choosing.

The magical season is because of Alleva, otherwise, what was TAM record this year?

Alleva has so far hired some of the best coaches. So I would think he would still bring the best in. Remember it was Woodward who hired Jimbo!

Handling extreme success is almost as challenging as handling extreme failure. We will see.

Cousin Scotty got A&M exactly who they asked for and they didn’t care about the cost, nor are they mad about the cost. They ave 10 times the money we have to spend.
