Anyone else ready for Aramark? How does this company continue to get business?

And no, I do not normally eat at LSU athletic events but I would like to be able to get some sort of beverage in a reasonable amount of time in very hot temperatures at sporting events when they don't let you bring anything into the venues.
East Carolina director of athletics Jon Gilbert spent plenty of time with his administrative staff this preseason working on a plan to ready for what was expected to be a packed Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in the team’s season opener against NC State.
But despite Gilbert and his team’s efforts - in association with the university’s concession vendor - Aramark - there were several issues with concession lines, product availability, and other fan experience items when a record crowd of 51,711 showed up for the team’s 21-20 loss to NC State in the season opener this past Saturday.
Despite temperatures in the mid-80s, fans online said there were multiple sections that ran out of bottled water well before the end of the game. Lines to get food or beverage items took 45 minutes or more in some cases, and the options were limited when fans finally got to the front

In my opinion, there is zero excuse for running out of water at the first game of the season. Stock up on that shite. It won’t go bad between games. It’s hot as shite for most places.

Infuriates me. Aramark on their best day serves shitty food with poor service and on their worst day is unimaginably bad for a major program to continue using for years and years. I wish they would kick those pieces of fricking shite to the curb and stop rewarding them with a gigantic contract. There’s another company out there somewhere who would actually do a good job and I’m not sure why Woodward hasn’t started the process of hiring them yet. Aramark will never be a “good” company. They’re a shite-stain Alleva-era disaster and I’ll be ecstatic when they aren’t involved with LSU athletics anymore

Look two threads below. Looks like Woody doing work.

Aramark ran out of bottled water at NRG for the Garth Brooks concert. This was before any of the acts even came on stage. How does that even happen?

They are the cheapest bidder almost always. There is always room in the capitalism for the cheapest bidder.
Thank Alleva.
We will get rid of them in a few years when we don't exercise the contract renewal.

Did you not see my thread from earlier?

I haven't been back to BR for 38 years, so I can't comment on Aramark at Tiger stadium.
However, I drive some trips for a D-1 college here on the east coast. This includes driving the recruits around on their official visit. This school has Aramark provide the food for these guys when they are at the football ops building all day on Saturday. I always get a box, and they have pretty tasty chicken, steak, mashed potato, and a green vegetable.
I take everyone's word about how bad they are at Tiger stadium, but they do a good job up here.

they have to be paying off the people who make the decision for the concessions.
