I like it when ESPN comes here, I dig when the campus feels like the center of the college football world. I also think the extra remotes they do from campus during the day or two leading up to the game are cool too. Don't really see any negatives to them being here, or why people wouldn't want them here.

I actually do want them to come to LSU. Yes, the Gameday made fun of us recently. Yes, they seem to think LSU is not that great. Yes, the seem to think LSU is irrelevant. If they have to come to LSU in spite of that, doesn't that mean they were wrong?
The way I look at it, Gameday is free publicity.

ha, i was thinking that we should start a campaign to not have gameday.
we have to be careful about contract issues btw sec and abc.
but, a rant email campaign that lets espn to treat lsu and the sec with equal respect to what they give to usc/pac10, etc...
or, to make them do their own investigation instead of using the rant as their private insider.

I do not care if Gameday comes, but it has nothing to do with the skit or the perceived hate of LSU.
ESPN is all about ratings, and as a business, that is all that matters. If PBS was making fun of LSU, then we would have a problem.
That being said, I believe Herbstreit truly has a personal vendetta against LSU.

Why should we go out and support their show after what they did? MAybe that's how you roll but not me. They went out of their way to to denigrate lsu.
