Anyone else looking forward to a return to normalcy?

Both Les and Orgeron were characters and, when they were winning, their shtick was tolerable. But it's no longer fun when you're not winning.
Eating grass, ripping off your shirt, talking in circles, all the bizarre stuff those dudes did just got old after a while. They were basically caricatures of actual football coaches, and both won a national championship.
Hell, I'd love a guy like Aranda. All business. Never have to worry about off the field issues. Regardless of who is hired next, I'm looking forward to some sense of normalcy from the face of the program.

Looking forward to consistency. Ed simply could not provide that.

Not having a mascot as your coach since Saban will be refreshing.

Funny, Aranda was always referred to as the weirdo by the players.

Nah, I like having weird outlandish coaches. It's all part of the entertainment.

Nothings more important than winning. A boring cerebral dude who cant win it all in 5 years will be gone .

All I want for Christmas is a sharp, competent coach for LSU. Dude should have charisma but I’m done with the fricking clown shows.

If for anything, it wasn't boring between those two. Them natty's tho...

Agreed. That's all I've wanted for the past 16 years. I'm thankful for the championships, but it would be refreshing to just have a "normal" HC. For a job like LSU it probably helps to have a big personality, so maybe I'm just sour on that after Les and Orgeron.

If there’s a few things I’ve learned these last 2 years, it’s that we’ll never return to normalcy, in anything

What if you think it’s gonna be normal, but Tate makes us hire a black coach but we can’t get James Franklin, so we end up hiring some no-name coach and he Ty Willingham’s us to a few consecutive 4-5 win seasons?
What if that’s the new normal?

This is south Louisiana and Louisiana in general. Manic depressive swings coupled with rampant TV alcoholism and philandering IS normalcy.
