As someone who has been watching LSU football since the seventies, it is impossible for me to be jaded about LSU football. I started watching when I was six and I was 14 when we finally beat Bama for the first time in my lifetime as a Tiger fan. I sat in half empty TS for Hallman's reign of terror, so no I'm not jaded. And your family chose to buy those tickets. No one put a gun to their head.

Must have been a big game if it was half full.
Barely remember the Hallman era, but I do remember State taking the wood to us in TS as my first visit (at least first I remember) during that time.
Some MSST cheerleader using a PA system in the stadium to call out cheers

Which is why we need to start Harris to prepare him for next season.
Based upon what?
Because Jennings is not the future for this team. He is horrible. We could find a better quaterback in a intramural league flag football game. Harris can and will benefit from the experience.

I'm there, brother. Can't even pretend to care about these last games.

Yall are so cute when coming into your first QB controversy. Still full of hopes and dreams that the backup is the future.

Liked the game plan except the overtime decisions. Team played their hearts out and came up short with some unfortunate special teams and a dumb penalty near the goaline. This is a tough one to swallow, but this team is showing vast improvement except at QB. I know we always say "wait until next year" but we should be much better offensively and if some defensive players return, that team could be great. We absolutely must beat Bama next year though and break this awful streak.

You could hear a pin drop from start to finish and then look forward to Curley's brilliant postgame assessment of what needs to improve. Miles is Lombardi compared to that guy. The difference between then and now is no internet back then and the fans were completely apathetic by that time. Younger fans just have no idea.

We've done 10-3 with Bama losses the past two years so its not really that exciting to do it again.
We have never, and can never, avenge the mulligan.

Harris cannot be worse than Jennings. At least give him a chance to develop and see if he can do better than Jennings. If he sucks as much as Jennings than I will be the first person to say I was wrong. But what do we really have to lose at this point?

<<<< raises hand.
I just can't enjoy the Miles' version of LSU Football.

Then don't. If you can't care for and support your team when things are tough, you aren't a fan. So go.
Go back to your room and play your x-box.

Yet it controls some ranters feelings about this year.
Has anyone mentioned that they threw the game to cover the spread? I feel that is all we are missing right now.

If we simply capitalize on Yeldon's fumble, score the TD and end up winning, people's attitudes would be 180 degrees different. And we were a hair's width away from that happening. Too much drama and hyperbole on this board. We are light years improved from the beginning of the season. If we just had a serviceable QB and we win by two touchdowns last night.

Is it the winning that gets you? At least we aren't losing to UAB.

Well that sounds like more of a you problem than an lsu/miles problem.
I'm sure they won't lose sleep over you.

I am sure they won't. I was just responding to the question. But, feel free to continue to be a dick.

Give up your tickets and go buy a bunch of FSU or Bama shite then, you fair weather bitch. This is why I wouldn't mind a few 6-6 or 5-7 type years. It would weed out the front running assholes like you.
They would jump right back on as soon as we were good again, see 2001

no shite, before that, LSU got more fan support from so. miss. than the upper part of the state, then we win a couple of decent bowls, a NC, and it's an LSU forever flag on the side of I-49

I really don't get these people saying "then go, we won't miss you." or "yeah you weren't here during the Hallman era".
I never said I'd stop supporting the Tigers, it's just really fricking frustrating to always think of "maybe next year " and have two wait two more years to try to bring Bama down again.
We're in a time where our coach is paid 4 million. Not the 80's/90's.
