It's all up to Sloan!

Sloan. Joe Sloan.

He has to run his version of "Da Joe Brady Offense" where he has Nussmeier getting the ball out of his hand quickly, a la Burrow, so the OL doesn't have to hold their blocks too long.

I think the Defense will return to traditional kick arse LSU DEFENSE this season, so if the Offense can score points, the season will be of Superior Quality enough to Matriculate into the CFP............

It all starts with the Clemson game. It would be unfathomable to lose the opener for the 6th year in a row.

If we do, Kelly's seat will be getting warmer...

With the fanbase maybe, but the reality is Kelly could ride 9-4 seasons through at least 2027 before he's in any legitimate danger.

Nuss is good, but Joe Burrow is not walking thru that door.

Combining him with the receivers and the playbook created the best offense I have witnessed. CEH was the perfect RB for that team. The Oline was well equipped to help enable what we saw.

I am excited about the talent of the current team, but think you need to slow your roll on comparisons to 2019.

??? Has someone, connected to the team, predicted we will score 45-50 pts per game?

Sloan needs to be good, but Burrow and Nuss have different strengths, and need a different playbook to be at their best.

I am happy to have Nuss, but Burrow has proven to be special. This man got the Bengals to the nfl playoffs which says a lot.
