We had no clue what we had until that first game at Texas. Let's just wait and see.

We can have a 07 or an 03 season

We can have an 11 season also

19 is a once in a lifetime season.

You won't see that again in your life time..... we may win a Natty, but not like that.

No. What were looking for is a JD jump, except feet vs arm. The decision making leap needs to be the same though, nuss has to make better decisions like JD did in his last year.

2019? It's August but I'm still surprised this has this upvote ratio. I know a lot of people didn't know joe burrow was a monster prior to the UCF game, and love the fairy tale that he woke up after his crack back, but JB was already an exceptional qb in 18.

2018 was the season of dropped passes. Not only did our receivers run poor routes, not only did we have piss poor play calling, not only did we have no run threat, not only did we have mid league offensive line play, but we could not bring half of our passes in when they landed directly in the wr hands. Joe was nailing his passes all season and it was overlooked because our wrs were incapable of bringing it in.

The off-season of 10000 catches, experienced line (albeit overrated, but still top 10), Brady, and having godlike potential on the offense brought us to 2019. Who's our Chase, JJ, Thomas? Yeah, we have great WRs but are they gonna be immediately top 5 as a group in the NFL? Is our rb going to step up like CEH against bama?

2019 lsu is the best cfb team to ever exist, enjoy it, but don't dream that were going to match the GOAT because it just makes you look foolish. Even if someone were willing to buy every top position player for a superstar year, I dont think they could take our 2019 team. They were brothers, it was a unit, not a mercenary squad.

2019 will forever live as the GOAT squad until proven otherwise.

I kinda agree. LSU can be excellent this season but nothing comes close to 2019. Nothing

I think we drop 1-2 games and still have a very realistic shot at a national championship.

There are so many games to be played now, anything can happen, but I have not been this confident in a returning QB and defense in a long time. This season can be really exciting!

I doubt we'll be that good. That might be the greatest CFB team in history. I think our passing game should be good and I'm hoping for 10-2 and playoff berth or better.

probably, and they will probably stand as the GOAT with today's landscape of mercenaries and rent-a-player, I think the cohesiveness and overall talent/dominating capability of the game has been severely diluted

Praying for the star alignment when I wake up for my 2:00AM piss. I pray for my kids and then the Tigers, in that order.

No, just based on the pure emotion of 2019. There's no Clyde putting the state on his back set up. There's no one QB away feeling.

Is Nuss doing 2am passing drills (through small door openings) with his wide receivers? Has he picked fights with Perkins and Weeks?
