Huge difference.

Dang, if my dad had carried on like that over my playing time I couldn't have found a hole deep enough to hide out in.

RE:
T-Bob had more starts as a 5th yr. Sr. OL than anyone else playing. He should have started in the Georgia Dome in his home state as a show of respect and is the LSU tradition but he was disrespected and noone knows why?
He was a leader on the team.

And? He wasn't a starter this year when everyone was healthy.

Never heard of this tradition until Bobby started saying it was. Did Mett, Derrick Bryant, or JC Copeland start?
T-Bob and K Shep were the only GA guys on the team in '07 and they didn't start. We didn't have any on the team in '05 or '03 so I'd love to know where this "tradition" came from?

true, the only team he actually earned a starting spot was when PJ was a RSFR and reportedly couldn't execute a shotgun snap.

After further research LSU has never had a player from Georgia start an SEC championship game. Maybe Bobby got the tradition backwards.

This is not a rec team. You EARN your spot.

Meh. He's a dad of a (former) player. He has zero objectivity.
I guess that i am upset with Miles is the same. Miles coached not to win

Respect for the seniors is important. Thought Miles understood that. Guess not. He will when his children get there and have struggled to make it to the senior year. Somehow...coaches get blinded by the new star.

Talked about how he had absolutely no relationship w/ Miles and how he was still pissed that JLee and Hebert among others didn't get any playing time. Called miles hard headed
I think all of this is well established. Many fans share the same thought, but Hebert has a radio show so you will hear it repeated if the subject is brought up.
Not sure why anyone would be so upset about it or even why this was newsworthy enough to start a thread.

What is even worse is Peterson in todays Times Pic saying they did not run much of the game plan. This has Miles intervention written all over it, and it sucks.

I agree. You would have thought Miles would show some appreciation for T-Bob saving the 2010 Tenn. game. It may have saved the season (along w/an improbable bounce on a fake kick and Lee's late heroics the following week against Fla.). At the very best our reg season would have ended up 9-3 or 8-4 w/o a Cotton Bowl bid. Our team might have fallen apart. The lack of respect, confidence and momentum would not have been there
going into 2011 and could have effected
this past season!
As a LSU grad & former athlete, I'm sorry T-Bob was snubbed in his final home game & in the Championship game. That's just not right! I appreciate his coming to LSU & for his efforts while here.

So every senior should start?
