Were the same sunshine sissies that wanted Les Miles to stay forever....

I think the negatigers who wanted miles gone in 2012 - me; are the same who wanted Herman and Fisher and then Briles and Freeze

I think the delusional t shirt fans who drink koolaid that wanted Miles here are the ones who also support O no matter what and are happy with the status quo

Interestingly enough I've found that many of O's biggest pumpers are the same people who were borderline psychotic in their hatred of Les

I wanted Miles gone.
If I knew what was going to happen with his successor, I would have never supported his firing.
Da Coach O has already done more damage to LSU than Miles did in his entire stay.
whatever else you say about Miles as a coach, he was a class act and conducted himself with maturity, judgment and integrity.

There isn’t any 1-1 correlation.

Some people loved Miles and Love O

Some people Hate Miles and Love O
Some people loved Miles and Hate O

quite the contrary

Anytime the Alabama or Florida game from last year is brought up, they still want to blame Les and Cam’s playbook, while hyping up the games against Mizzou & Ole Miss

I agree to a point. Miles needed to go. And I don’t think LSU fans should overlook the consequences he left us with. In Orgeron’s defense he was handed the keys to a program he should have no business leading. Most blame goes on the shoulders of Alleva. That being said....

Miles left the program in tough spot. He never developed a QB or an offensive scheme to beat Bama. He implemented an offense and recruited to its needs. We were stuck in the mud with Miles and he needed to go no matter what, can’t look back because we weren’t moving

That being said Orgeron just made us bog down worse and worse

I say we need to cut the head off the snake, starting with Alleva. Then hire an AD that has ties and roots to LSU. Look what Woodward is doing at A&M

I had faith in the administration to pick a decent replacement for Les. (I had been drinking a lot )
I won't make that mistake again.

Whether we EVER make a hire again with roots with LSU or Louisiana, makes no difference to me. That's what go us in to this mess.
We want the best and if he doesn't talk like us, I don't care.

I was as big of a Miles supporter as these was. And I would have loved for him to stay until he retired as long as he fielded competitive teams.

Now, I was willing to give o a chance as the head coach, even though he wasn't my first choice, or any choice for that matter. But a little bit of o goes a long way and he lost my support a long time ago.

So it seems like you're wrong about all the "sunshine sissies" who supported Miles.

The hell? Damage? We went 9-4, 6-2 in conference last season.

I will never forgive Miles for 1/9/12

That alone sealed his fate and legacy at LSU for me. His incompetency with clock management and failure to address the Qb situation

The most beautiful season of LSU football was 2011, playing top ranked teams, starting off the season against Oregon, the Game of the Century, and then Georgia in the SEC title, having the honey badger... that could have gone down as the best single season in college football history...

Playing in the backyard in New Orleans and then shitting the bed horrendously

I’ll never forgive Miles. NEVER

I for one have never understood the thought process of "No matter who the coach is I'll fully support them" mindset. If that makes me a lesser fan to some so What? I personally see it the complete opposite, For I care so much about the school, the players, and the brand that I honestly feel some coaches are undeserving of the privilege to coach my beloved Tigers.

LSU deserves better than Ed Orgeron and Steve Ensminger (as OC ) and their 73 year old buddy. We have the all the intangibles to be competing and winning championships other than the coaching and it's a damn shame.

I'll count you as one who thinks everything is going swimmingly under da Coach O, while the rest of college football laughs.
You must have thought that press conference yesterday was a proud moment for the program, eh?

I was a Miles’ man and defended him on this board often. He lost me after the Wisconsin game in 2016.

The Edward Orgeron hire was probably the most disappointing day in my LSU fandom. He has lived up to everything I expected. Pure garbage.

But the thing I see regarding the two coaches, is a complete lowering of expectations and excuse making hypocrisy that has been born out of identity politics.

The “one of us” cult never existed for Miles.

Exactly, and O's success will validate (in their minds) their hatred of Les.

They went from "Anyone can coach this team loaded with NFL talent" under Coach Miles to "This team has depleted talent in this rebuilding year" under O.

They also went from Canada is the greatest offensive coordinator around to "he was not good."

Miles was getting old for me the year of the Tennessee T-Bob snap. He redeemed himself during the '11 regular season and then lost me for good 1/9. I was glad to see him go and never in a million years did I think the administration was going to screw up his replacement hire as bad as they did.

O does not belong in this echelon as a HC and no one in the country would have elevated him to this position. He didn't even get an interview at Syracuse, despite openly politicking for it. He was jobless right before we scooped him up. No way a guy like that (save for someone that sat out for personal reasons) gets a top job 99 times out of 100.
