How many FO buildings you been in recently to know what they have him as?

Or are you referring to the mock draft people? If so, bless your heart. The write-ups haven't changed since his freshman season despite the substantial shortcomings that have been revealed over the last 2 years

He is destined for a practice squad unless he gets drafted to one of the worst and thinnest defenses in the league

They update them close to bi-weekly. And in the land of mock drafts, those guys are very competitive to get it right. Mock draft people is funny tho.

The way house used Perkins last yr was horrible.

He could've blitzed him from different spots and he just didn't.

Barely blitzed him up the a gap. He got pressure most times he did but house refused to.

Except again there’s no proof of that. He was moved to a new position and wasn’t being used the same way he was when the impact plays were so common.
one game accounted for nearly 50% of his sacks his freshman season. He had more production his sophomore season “in a different position”. 70 vs 59 tackles. His solo tackles went up in 2023 vs 2022. He had 1 more sack in 2022 than 2023.

That’s it.
But but but ILB was bad for him vs OLB.

HE IS A SAFETY. Watch him in pass coverage. He is too small and not strong enough for LB or to get washed inside.

He played 130+ more snaps in 2023 than he did in 2022. The NFL doesn’t project him as a safety.

That was his freshman season assuming he would get stronger and bigger - which neither have happened.

The stats were from the regular season. No denying he had one incredible game as a freshman and people were thinking he was a DE. What a joke.

Not sure what you’re trying to say other than like every post “muh he sucks and he was only good in that one game”.

He dominated or impacted several games that season. Completely changed the Auburn game after we got down by 17. He was brought in, immediately pressured and contained the QB plus had the game saving INT late. One thing you people don’t realize is how bad we were getting killed on QBs extending plays because we had no upfield rush. FSUs QB won the game vs us by extending plays vs a flat pocket, anytime Perk was brought in all that stopped. The Ole Miss game, again down 17. He’s brought in and literally wrecked the game for OM leading to a big win for us. The Alabama game where he kept us in the game until our offense started moving the ball in the 2nd half by pressuring, sacking and hitting Young on every 3rd down in that first half. The Florida game we couldn’t stop AR15 in the 3rd quarter, he comes in, starts spying him and neutralizes their only weapon leading to another big win for us.
