He was doing well, but I did a quick google news search and he has been out of the news since April 24th... draft day.

Sadly, nobody probably will sign him.

When your given a chance don't waste it. Looks like it was his only one.

If he doesnt get an NFL shot this year he should give the CFL a look, that huge field would it him perfectly

If he tried the Arena league he might break that net they got

I personally hope that JaMarcus gets a second chance somewhere. I think this time around, he will take playing quarterback much more seriously than he did the first time, although you have to have some sympathy for the guy, he played for the Raiders, who have been horrible for more than a decade now.

He won't be a starter anywhere, but hopefully a team will let him try to earn a backup spot and he can go from there.

plenty of players have been given second chances in the league. if his weight is down he'll be brought into camp.

Browns need a QB, Arizona could use someone behind Palmer, Imagine him in Dallas backing up Romo

I would guess that this was what he and his agent were hoping for. I think the pro day would have happened in April if his weight was below 270 but it wasn't. Once camps start, I would bet he will have several offers to come in an become a camp arm. Maybe he will impress and catch on with a team.

I have mixed feelings about this. I'm not sure if he could handle being under Jerry Jones.

I sure teams with QB needs are watching his progress closely. I would be shocked if he doesn't get an opportunity somewhere if he continues to work.

Having former pro bowl QB like Jeff Garcia, who was well respected by front office types, in his corner helps IMO.

I have no doubt hell be in someone's camp. If he's already in the 270s, another month or two hell be in plenty good enough shape. I don't know that I'd day he's ready to lead a team right now, but is love to see him get some preseason action.

I hope he continues to work his tail off. Jamarcus is not stupid. He's average intelligence if not slightly better and couldn't handle the limelight and career suicide that is playing for the Raiders.
