My hubby, a band member from 92-96, said LSU has a strict policy prohibiting uniformed performances outside of events offically organized by the university. Would've been something to see, though....

booo.... we stayed there for the Sugar in 06 but the Marriott in 03 and 07. Marriott is much better. We did 4 nights in 03 I think but cut down after that. The morning of that ND Sugar Bowl game I stumbled into the hotel at 6AM and RMK and LRM were already at breakfast
