I camped out for the 06-07 UCONN game as a freshman. We were one of the first 3 tents on the ramp and Elleshoe, Big Nose and crew were next to us...first time I met them but cool guys.
Rece Davis stopped by and had a hot dog from our little charcoal grill we had and took a picture with several of us. Would post but there are likely other posters in this thread in the pics so would have to get consent. I think Digger Phelps and Jay Bilas acknowledged us as well.
I have pics of our setup but has TD posters in them and don't want to get in trouble with admins.
Sat front row and got to interact with Dick Vitale some. Can't remember if Shaq was at that particular game as he was still in the NBA.
Was easily a top 5-10 experience of my 4 years at LSU

I was going to say, even though I'm going to be one of the first ones there I'm not sure I want to sit front row of the student section. What do y'all think?

Most people who have camped out would agree it's a once in a lifetime experience. Sure, it's a lot of trouble, but so worth it. Everybody goes to football games, only a handful go to basketball. Then add in camping out...it's an elite fraternity

I'm friendly with the guys down there (they really aren't that bad, just eccentric). I sit there because I'll be damned if I let other people dictate where I want to sit at a sporting event, which in the case of LSU basketball is as close to the action as possible.

You're talking to a guy who worked for the basketball team for a year under Brady and sat on the front row for 3 years after that...so of course I'm going to say yes
I think if you're willing to put in all the effort of camping, you need to reap the benefits of the front. You don't have to be "front" but I'd say bottom section. But it also depends if you're gonna act like a hoodrat or a little bitch. If you're gonna act soft go sit up top. We need the students A game.

Say sometimes...because they've missed several games. Me, Elle, and Big Nose used to get there 4-5 hours early to ensure we had front row. Nostalgia
In all students' defense...the student section local SUCKS now

As Tommy said...they go Mission Impossible on us. They show up for like 10 minutes then disappear again. I'm not putting them back up because it takes too much effort
