I remember when he transferred back home from Alabama and all the excitement from the fans, but has anyone heard anything about him becoming a contributor? Clearly, very talented but no one ever talks about him. Anyone got inside info on what's going on with him? I'm starting to get that Russell Shepard vibe!

He’s working with the Tigers WR group.
He’ll make the impact in the slot.

He ran routes with the other LSU receivers in Thibodaux at the manning passing academy two weeks ago and looked very smooth. It’s not like that room is lacking talent. He was also never really healthy last year after knee surgery his freshman year. He looks healthy now.

Another year like last year and Anderson will be in the Jonathon Giles category.

He’ll likely end his career with more pass attempts than Shep

He was supposed to mostly be a return man last season. The he fumbled the opening punt vs. FSU. Kelly got PTSD and immediately ended that role.

As a receiver he didn't "pop", but I'm not ready to close the book on him just yet. When you have a WR group as good as LSU had last season it's kind of difficult to justify not playing them every snap possible and/or making one of them the #1 target even if Anderson was in.

The runway is mostly clear this season with a QB that isn't going to be relied upon to run. That means there should be plenty of opportunities for WRs to establish themselves. If he can't do so this year THEN it might be time to start to close the book.

He had the 3rd most catches last season out of returning WRs. He already is a contributor.

Although it’s not saying too much since we brought in 2 experienced WR in the portal. He will do plenty this season & he’s only a RS Soph.

last season:

Kyren Lacy, 30 rec
Chris Hilton, 13 rec
Aaron Anderson, 12 rec

So you’re thinking he’s going to be a NFL WR?

Nice!

This sounds good until you realize we only have 3 returning receivers that recorded a catch. So he’s 3rd out of 3.
