Haven’t seen anything lately. Anyone hearing anything? Was just looking around at the schools who are consistent winners and most of the coaches at those schools have been there a good while. What route does Woodward go? Are there any associate head or assistant coaches that would be a good hire? Thanks in advance.

I was told that an asst coach from Cal said no. They have also spoken to a head coach from a small east coast school as well as another asst from Indiana.

Sorry for the lack of details, but I do not recall individual names.

I don’t see how they can make this fire without a plan for facility upgrades. It’s the first thing the coach will want to know and ask. If there is no commitment to upgrades then this hire means nothing

Bianco or Corbin, whichever one does not get the baseball job.

Thanks Viking. Appreciate what you’ve heard. Was actually looking at Cal’s coaches. They’ve got separate head coaches for men and women and must have quite the set up there as they’ve done really well over the years. Saw a bunch of Cal swim caps during the trials so far. Also looked at Indiana’s coaches’ website as their head guy was coach of the year a couple years back. He’s been there a long time. The winningest schools seem to have very entrenched coaches. Was wondering about Virginia’s coaches. They seem to be doing pretty well and their head guy has been there for four years. Hoping Woodward wants to make a good hire here as we haven’t been very good in a long while.

Was just looking at an overhead view of the natatorium. Probably one of the only venues where we have room to expand in the current location. Room in front, in back and on the side where there are some old tennis team practice courts. Which schools currently have the best facilities?

LSU jet apparently just landed in Omaha! Everyone thinks it is for the baseball coach but SW has to be checking out swimming and diving coaches at the US trials! No way he would fly to Omaha for a baseball coach, correct!

Lots of big names have listened but when they found out the fan base leaves the swimnasium half way through the meets, their interests cools.
