Not much was really said here about Shores' injury. Naptime said he expected bad news this week, no names mentioned, he didn't even mention injury. Another poster mentioned Shores had an MRI the day after his outing and it didn't look good. Take it for what it's worth.

The poster who was hinting at the injury and bad MRI results said to watch him when he walked off and on the ESPN replay showed as Chase walked towards the dugout, he had his throwing arm by his side and didn't use it to give his teammates five as they greeted him in foul territory. He used his gloved hand to tap his teammates hands and the throwing arm stayed hanging by his side. But the replay cut off of him well before he reached the dugout so not sure if they missed something with the cameras.

I sit just above the bullpen and usually watch our pitchers warming up pretty closely. I didn't see anything that happened that was obvious and indicated that he was aware that something was wrong with him. He did not show that there was anything wrong or out of the ordinary while warming up that I could see.
Hoping that it is not a serious injury for the young man and he can recover with rest alone if there is anything to the rumor.

Several factors involved but overuse leads the pack for sure. Throw in the push for high velocity and mechanics that stress the arm, something has to give for many pitchers.

Every since nap and the other poster subtlety dropped that I was and am still on pins n needles... if we only get the one in with Skenes I'm probably good with that this weekend anyway
