I saw that Billy Kennedy was passed over for the USM job. He’s a NO native, coached at SLU and has ties in Houston, etc. in Texas from his aTm days. Seems he’d be a good fit for a season or two until he can land another head coaching spot.

I think Billy Kennedy is a great coach, i just wonder what impact Parkinsons has on him at this point. Does he still have the energy/ability to coach at a high level?

Kennedy is done. We will never be a head coach again. Not sure if he will even be an assistant at a high level.

If a guy like Ladner can go from a bad program like southeastern where he had a losing record over 5 years and get a job at southern miss, Kennedy can get an assistant job after a couple bad years at an sec school.

Would we consider moving Heiar into the Associate HC position and bringing Tasmin on as an assistant coach? Has he “apprenticed” long enough to come on staff in a coaching capacity yet?

If they need somebody to hold a clipboard I’ll volunteer. Save that money for some strong arse offers.

We got a lot of shoes to fill

From people in the know in CS, he shouldn’t be coaching anymore.

Glyn Cyprien would be solid also. 30 years experience. Currently at Texas Tech
