If he averages 200 yds a game until the end of the season?

I know....the line is still a train wreck but it could happen I guess.

November will tell u that. Just like last year
If he could average 135 and then have a big game against Bama. He'd be in New York at the least.

I think he's 5th in the odds so yes he's in the conversation

But I don't think there is a shot

He's in the conversation. He needs some highlight runs like in the Auburn game last year and have big games against the good teams unlike last year. Winning the SEC would help also. Very unlikely

Yes, early season doesn't matter. If he delivers in oct and November

Of course he is. If he dominates in conference play and has a good game against bama he is going to be in new york.

Nope. Not as long as Elmer Fudd is on the sideline. Can't beat Bama = no Heisman

Agree to an extent. He def needs to show he can excel against an elite D and Bama certainly fits that bill.
Unfortunately, he's only going as far as the O-line will take him.

He can definitely win it. He missed the McNeese state game last year and people saw him at the e d as a travesty not getting invited. Many pundits said it was only because of LSUs play down the stretch. He had nearly 2k with 8-10 men in the box.
Let them leave the box with any intermediate short passing game and Arky, Ole Miss, Tamu, UF and MSU today gets skull freaked by him. He gets 125 on Bama and he is a lock. LSU winning starts it all.
The OLINE doesn't have to play as great as most think. Just have to block for 3 seconds or so and the entire complexity of preparing for this team takes a whole new persoective.

That's true too. Oline gets pushed around by Bama, Fournette can't do anything.

THIS

Henry had 96 yards vs MTSU in Game 2 and 52 yards in Game 4 vs UL-M. Didn't hurt his chances.
(ETA: had 68 vs Charleston Southern in Game 11. Which impressively shows that Henry didn't pad his stats against cupcakes at all. It was completely the opposite.)

It will also largely depend on LSU's season outcome as well as LF7's performance in BIG games.

absolutely.....IF he puts up good numbers all year AND against a good D like Bama and LSU wins Bama game because of him! Media will be all over it!

Don't really think so, Lester blew it for him beginning with the Bama game by continuously trying to run him up the gut of that Bama defensive front. JMO.

Not at the moment. He can play his way back in. People that say otherwise are wrong
