Correct! I don’t understand the hate/distain everyone shows players that leave to hopefully better their chances of playing time or getting to the NFL. CBK has year end interviews with all players. Everyone is aware of where they stand. I can assure you CBK was aware of the situation and potential of a QB leaving. Yes he could have stayed through spring but that would just set him back against any competition where he transfers. Also, no where has he said he wanted to be the starter or QB2 next year. He knew for sometime that JD5 was coming back. You think 3 guys hanging out together do not discuss things. He wanted to learn and develop this year and next. As many have said there are only so many plays in practice and the 3rd string is not getting very many if any. It’s an unfortunate/fortunate situation. When was the last time LSU could afford to loose a 5* QB and be okay?

I fully understand the logic behind his decision; Nussmeier is better than he anticipated, better than he thinks he can catch before the job comes open. And apparently has made it known that he is staying at LSU regardless of what happens this year.

There's really no other reason for Howard to leave.

I don't need to stop being selfish, I'm a fan of LSU, not Howard, Nussmeier, Daniels or any other single player. I will wish him well, as long as he doesn't show up on the opposing roster some day. If he does, I hope he has a game like we're seeing from Sunshine in the Chargers-Jaguars game- 4 int so far, and still first half.
