because that demographic very largely doesn't give a frick about professional sports and few of them attend "pride night" for whatever team decides to make that their game theme for the night, which makes the pandering stupid.
And for the "toxic masculinity and homophobic guy," I wouldn't want my young children around that. I will never understand why that group has to make their sexual orientation their entire identity. No one cares who you frick but no one wants to celebrate it either.

What kind of ideology led you to believe that the normal people’s response to “Pride Night” is due to terror? Which cult successfully indoctrinated you?
Is it normal to take pride in things like a fondness for openly identifying as an L,B,G,T,Q, or a plus sign? What about a skin color? Hair color? Height? Weight? Any other demographic or descriptive characteristic?

Labels and over tolerance are their only weapons. It may have worked 5 years ago but that crap is over.
You are exactly right, normal person do not need to be force fed the sexual preferences of others. Nor celebrate it.

Astros fan here. I enjoy watching both pitchers. Arrighetti has been very good this year, most consistent pitcher for the Astros with an ERA of 1.34. Skubal has been injured, getting ready for rehab.
