and it can explain the weak passing numbers last year TD-INT ratio.
Well 2019 was his big season as a true freshman. He had Brandon Aiyuk to throw to against trash pac-12 defenses. Aiyuk was 2 yards in front of CBs on deep throws at times. He also had Eno Benjamin for drop off passes. Things and defenses will be different in the sec. He may be successful and imo Boutte is better than Aiyuk but he will playing against much much better defenses.

If this team thinks it can win with a run first pass second QB, it is terribly misguided.

I’ll say it now, if Daniels is the starter and struggles to hit receivers, LSU is in for a long season.

To be fair, that was 3-4 months ago with new teammates and a new coach and system.

Daniels was dog shite last year. Also, he is a run first guy at 190 in the SEC. Good luck.

The better question is why hasn't Myles or Nuss separated themselves from Daniels?
Because neither of those two have started 29 games. If he's the "experienced QB" that everyone keeps saying he is, Nuss, especially, shouldn't even be close. But he is. You don't
have to like it, but that is a fact.

Our QB needs to be able to drive the ball downfield (NOT dink & dunk) with accurate passes to play-makers in space and in tight coverages.
So you’re “All In” for JD starting as long as he’s able to do EVERYTHING a perfect QB can do LOL!
BTW regardless of who is ultimately the choice as Starter I desperately hope CBK sticks with him & doesn’t start a Musical Chairs routine with our QBs this season. Im not sure there is anything worse than going thru an entire season having no idea who the starter will be. The most frustrating thing is having each of the 3 possible starters desperately gun shy because their afraid to make any mistakes for fear of getting yanked.

You should prepare yourself for this to happen, at least early in the season. Kelly rotated QBs at ND just last year. If the initial starter struggles, he won’t just stick with them.

The fan allegiance to either Brennan or Nuss is unfounded to me.
And again the JD deflection strikes. It's an infatuation with Nuss and JD that is on the rant, and anyone who asks why not Brennan is shot down.
Ultimately the correct answer is: good arguments can be made as to why any will start, but we have a head coach that we can and will trust no matter his decision.

When will Brennan pull it all together? Notice how the conversation around Daniels is he has to pull it all together or improve such and such. As if Myles and Nuss are complete bodies of work.
It seems that you missed where I said the EXACT SAME THING IN MY POST. You even quoted it. None of our QBs are complete. None of them should be considered as a foregone conclusion to start. Unlike you, I don’t favor one over the other. I just happen to think your chosen savior deserves just as much scrutiny as the other two and there are problems that you and others blatantly ignore in his past performance.
You fricking cheerleaders are absolutely ridiculous.

I understand why it may go that way initially (FSU, Southern) but by the time MSU rolls around then IMO whoever’s played the best to that point just stick with them & let them build some chemistry with the rest of the Offense.
Unless MB is clearly better than Nuss & JD then why not let the QB/s with at least 1 additional year of eligibility play, build rapport & timing with the WRs at game speed for next season & if its Nuss, 2-3 more years??

Kelly is ultimately here to win games. If we are in a close one and the QB is struggling, he’s not the type to stick with them just for the sake of continuity or their feelings. Also, sometimes guys emerge later in a season and become the better option. I want a head coach who will pull the trigger if a change needs to be made and Kelly has that track record.
I do think we will likely have more than one starter this season because no one has stood out enough to take this job yet, as well as the potential for injuries. However, I think it’s even more likely we see QBs rotate some in games if one is struggling.
