LSU WILL score 40, 50, 60 points. That is a given.

Any opposing OC has no choice but to practice and call the most explosive plays in their playbook. Risk management goes out the window.

An OC can give a kiss goodbye to all the tried-and-true time management, field position, ground & pound stuff.

When they throw caution to the wind, they're at greater risk. But they score more.

Ahhh now you make more sense with the edit. Risk of more turnovers will certainly help our D.

Exactly.

And the LSU average "Margin of Victory" (22 1/2 points) is LSU's highest in the last 100 years.

LSU is 11-0 and has the highest margin of victory (22.5 points) in a 100 years.

Quit your bitchin!

Sure. Teams know they have to score big to beat LSU so they have the luxury of no pressure. Still need to adjust when they’re killing you with 1 thing.

To me Aranda is not nearly as exotic as we were sold on.

the D is avg at best. Joe will have to win all games going forward. It's not about a balanced team, it's about a winning team. I will take winning over balanced. We win with Joe.

What does that have to do with the defense being subpar? If auburn would have a decent offense, they would have beaten LSU. So don’t expect LSU just to go put up 40,50,60 pts on against all their opponents. I’m more than sure they won’t move the ball at Will in the playoffs. Their will come a time where the defense will have to take the lead and make a few stops if LSU wants to win a natty!

Yeah, they will. They can't F'n stop it!

The playoff teams have defenses with slightly less talent than the good SEC Ds.

It's a new game. 9-6 scores are over and out... ancient history

LSU has played 3 offenses better than the best offense Ohio State has faced, while Ohio State has also faced 2 of the 4 worst offenses in the entire country.

People nationally acting like LSU's defensive box scores and Ohio States defensive box scores are apples to apples are morons.

Like they did against Bama? One TD in the first half, then stoned them 1st drive of the second half.

A game consists of 4 quarters. So it doesn’t matter what they did in the 1st half. They didn’t do it the entire game. Bama thought the same that their offense couldn’t be stopped last year, and what happened in the National championship game again?

I don’t know why the OP can’t be accurate, and LSU has an average defense. Both can be true.
