Herbstreit had 'anonymous' sources with Miles definitely going to Michigan.
So yea, really. People can make shite up and say the source was anonymous. Especially if they are hurting for a good article.

OK, but saying an anyonymous source is "just as good", or however you phrased it, as fabricated is ignorant at best. Especially considering that the anyonymous source is the premise of the entire piece.
