“Didn't LSU sign the number 1 WR class last year?”
Yea but their S&C coach is probly better than ours lol.

True freshman brother.
You think Burrow's the best QB in the country and you're comparing him to a true freshman.
I'm comparing him to the QB for the National Champions.
I think Burrow is a Top-5 QB - So is Lawrence.
Lawrence had a far better scheme, O-Line and WRs

I know, right... Lol
It's a good looking number to them and they lean on it very heavily for validation. It sounds much better than LSU finishing 3rd in the SEC West Division and 5th in the SEC overall (Even behind Kentucky).
A 3 loss team hasn't finished at #6 in the AP final poll in years but luckily it happened to fall in LSU's lap I guess.

Didn't LSU sign the number 1 WR class last year?
And I'd be amazed if they don't see significant PT by mid-season

Two more excuses to add to the list; someone made him transfer and his WRs don't make impressive enough catches.

This is where the disconnect comes in for me. People are ready to run Mainieri out of town for the exact same finish.

I appreciate how hard you worked on that rebuttal.
Unfortunately, none of it refutes what I actually said and instead it just re-iterates previous arguments, except for 1 thing. I believe O wasn't ready to be a head coach when he was at Ole Miss and he's learned a lot since then. You believe he hasn't progressed since then and therefore use his tenure there to support your conclusions.
That's fine. We disagree. We'll know the answer soon enough.

In what round (if at all) will Burrow be drafted, in your opinion?
I say he'll be one of the first 5 QBs drafted.

Just as I thought! Goldrush takes endless potshots, but doesn't have the BALLS to state his own opinion on Burrow getting drafted.

That's his ceiling, about the 5th QB drafted.
He's estimated to be the 10-12th right now so he's got his work cut out for him.
I say split the difference, he'll be the 7th or 8th QB taken IMO, that'd make him a 4th or 5th round QB.

You need to calm down.
I was doing some quick research.

And you’ve run from your earlier predictions that you’d take Burrow #1 overall and he’ll at least go top 5 overall so now you’re claiming in the top 5 QBs which could be anywhere from the 1st round to the 6th but you’re trying to force him to pick a round which isn’t the same thing. As usual total bullshite from you. So how’s about that ban bet? Care to make it now since you’re calling other people coward and all?

I mean he had a 7OT game that inflated those stats. I think that made up for a lot of those less than ideal situations
I'm pretty sure that in those 7 OTs he threw for less than 150 yards so I'm not sure that inflated is the word I'd use. Not to mention he actually threw for those yards. Nobody gave them to him.

75 yards on one site and 71 on another - One includes a 4 yard 2 point conversion, and another doesn't
If you go to ESPN's account of the game them click on play-by-play, you can see every play - you have to click on the down arrows to open up the play by play for each possession

I agree on the yards. If people want to say anything is inflated it would be the touchdowns IMO.

Man you really do idolize Burrow.
On the one hand, it's admirable to have that type of devotion to a sports figure.
On the other hand, it's crazy to have that type of devotion to a sports figure, to where you are this out of touch with the rest of the world.
Crazy thing is everyone likes Burrow. But you take any type of minor criticism of him as personal criticism. It's rare to see someone as obsessed with a player as you are with Burrow.
