Burrow had a really good season. He played very well in a few games. But, he's gonna have to make a significant jump in production to be drafted as a top 5 QB IMO.

We have a worse offensive production now than what we had three years ago.
In LSUs wins of 2015, average defensive ranking was almost 90.

But it’s not just a numbers thing, he’s gotta have the arm talent, arm strength, accuracy and athleticism to be drafted in the top 5. Remember Zach Mettenberger, he had much more arm talent than Burrow but wasn’t quick enough in the pocket to be drafted as a top 5 QB. The class he comes out in also matters, Mett was the 10th QB in his class but lesser QBs have been drafted 5th or 6th in their class so this standard Buckeye is using is very misleading.

And the biggest offensive day of the 2015 regular season was in a loss while the two biggest games of 2018 were vs the 112th and 114th ranked defenses so your point means nothing.

If they are used to excuse something, yes.
I've never once heard that guy hold Burrow accountable for anything.
Urban Meyer did him wrong, the WRs here don't help him out enough, the play calling isn't good enough. It's one excuse after another.

Man you really do idolize Burrow.
On the one hand, it's admirable to have that type of devotion to a sports figure.
On the other hand, it's crazy to have that type of devotion to a sports figure, to where you are this out of touch with the rest of the world.
Crazy thing is everyone likes Burrow. But you take any type of minor criticism of him as personal criticism. It's rare to see someone as obsessed with a player as you are with Burrow.
That's your read - not mine.
Burrow is easily as good a QB as Haskins (and Haskins is VERY good). And I'm glad he got his shot at LSU.
However, it is irritating that a small group of constant posters have tried to hang the "mediocre" label on Burrow. But the season is only a few months away now, we'll soon see what Brady/E/O and Burrow and his offense can produce.
3400 yards passing in the first 13 games is the absolute minimum, and 4000 yards won't surprise me.

Well in the Miami game he passed for 140 yards. In the Mississippi St game he passed for 129 so an extra 70 isn't insignificant for his total
So 70 yards inflated those stats. This is the point that you should be embarrassed.

And all those numbers would fall short of what Haskins did so you still won’t have any proof to back your insane claims.

Some, like me, just go by what they see.
You go by this idea of him that you have in your head where he's the best QB in the country and every bit as good as someone that just got drafted in the first half of the first round. But due to multiple circumstances, none of which are his fault, no one but you can see it.
Out of the two of us, who looks the craziest?

I guess I'm thinking that he's going to have to display these things in order to have the kind of production we're talking about that would get him drafted top 5.

Ive never seen anyone trying so damn hard to discredit something that his views change day to day to maintain the narrative.
One day facts ae facts, the next they are "excuses"
Are they excuses if you use facts?

You’re right he will I’m just saying it’ll take more on top of that.

Didn't LSU sign the number 1 WR class last year
What has this got to do with the claim that is false. That the 7 OT game padded Burrow's total yards.
Goldfish with the queen are trying to change the subject. queen jumped on board because he's never had an original thought or idea in his life. All he knows is call people he doesn't agree with names.

Two more excuses to add to the list; someone made him transfer and his WRs don't make impressive enough catches

Yep.
5.5 yards per game added to his stats.
But he's run with that narrative too long to back out now

Nothing. There was a claim that Trevor Lawrence benefited from his WRs making circus catches and it was implied that Burrow didn't have the same kind of help. There was a comparison between Burrow and Lawrence who is a true freshman. So, if we are talking true freshman, it seems reasonable to me to bring up that LSU had the best true freshman receivers in the country last season.

Nah, it's Justyn Ross and Lawrence had to jump ball thing figured out. Ross has phenomenal body control
I think Chase could get there.
