She is not below a 2.0 gpa. She would not be able to play in the Tournament. Nor would she be in good academic standing if her GPA fell below a 2.0.
As a former recovering dumbass with personal experience of this situation, the NCAA would quite literally not let her step foot on the court if this were the case

Hope that helps clear it up.
I think you know it does not.
It would be good of you to not continue to post something about an LSU student-athlete that you cannot show any evidence of.

reason she was left off of one of the POTY finalist list was because her GPA is lower than a 2.0.
Pretty fricking stupid requirement if true.

I haven't seen this anywhere but your post

I was very happy.
It would have sucked if we didn’t win the national title afterward.
I would not have started an OP about him getting snubbed as I think the final team award is much more satisfying.
Individual rewards also reflect on the team and the brand, which is a plus for recruiting. Sure a national championship will always trump everything else, but players receiving illustrious awards have a bigger impact than just that player having a piece of metal sitting on a shelf in their den. It's your prerogative if they don't mean much to you, but they do mean a good bit to the program.

The award will more than likely go to a tranny.
Why would it? There are probably at most 2 in all of college basketball currently playing and despite right wing rhetoric, they do not “dominate women’s sports” in any way imaginable. In fact, trans women have been competing in the Olympics for decades and until very recently, not a single one had gold medaled for even medaled at all in their respective sport.
It’s like in Ohio (I think it was) where the republicans made such a huge fuss over trans girls playing girls sports. There was literally one trans girl that was playing in the entire state. One! They spent thousand of tax dollars on an issue that came down to one individual. No but that fiscal conservatism that the republicans are so known for though.
Both the extreme left and right are out of their fricking minds on this topic these days.

Who fricking cares about individual awards? This is a good TEAM led by a good coach.
Flau’Jae and Morris are big reasons of the success also. It’s not ALL about Angel Reese. She scores the most with the help of the others. Worry about getting to the final four and dare I say championship to slay the dragon in Carolina.
