I don't hate Angel, but Jasmine Carson won that game for LSU

Hate is a strong word, but being a cringe, self-hyped, well, bitch for lack of a better word is not a good look on her or the school.

She may have calmed down some since her debut, but leaning into an invented rivalry with Clark when Reese already won the natty in college is a bit embarrassing, especially while the jealous racists were physically beating the woman on the court every game for no reason.

If you watched the game you would know Carson's 3 pointers in the first half gave LSU all the momentum

They went to halftime up 17 and won by 17.. but yes credit the bench player who has no career and not the star who averaged 23 and 15

Dismissing Angel's contributions to that game is dumb, but so is dismissing Jasmine's. Not to mention Alexis Morris' contribution.

Jasmine won the game. Plain and simple.

I guess, from a simplistic view, you might make that assertion. She certainly set the table: 7 of 8 shots, 5 of 6 3-pointers. I would not argue that she was the most impactful player in that game. I think that is inarguably true.

But she only played 22 minutes, and aside from her shooting, she only had 3 rebounds and 1 assist.

Meanwhile, Alexis Morris (with FlauJae and Kateari Poole) did a masterful job containing Clark early, which allowed LSU to win every period except the 3rd. Morris played 33 minutes, had 21 points, 9 assists, and a steal. I also think without Morris, they wouldn't have won that game.
