Why do you say that, I thought he and PM had a great relationship and they parted on good terms. It wasn't a secret AC wanted to be a head coach. What are you basing your comments on, what examples?

If the rumors are true, with all the crap that went on with McElwain, if I am the AD at UF and watching how the head baseball coach from MSU just got essentially fired because of her cheating with the coach. I would remove her from the AD as quickly as possible.
If she did it once there has to be a strong possibility of doing it again!!! Why would the AD want to take that chance, who needs that headache? He would be stupid if he doesn't fire her!

Your correct she is UF's problem. Now think of this, if you are the new UF - AD and you just found out that an underling that is new to UF had an affair with a married HC where she was just hired from and it cost that HC his job, gave her former athletic department a huge black eye and publicity issues. Why on earth would you take the chance of her possibly doing it again at her new job under your watch?
If I was the AD at Florida right now I would be trying to figure out a way to push her out of the University as quickly as possible. If he can't let her go outright for whatever legal reasons, I would reassign her as quickly as possible to a job she will hate and quit as quickly as possible. One way or another before spring practice ends she would be gone if the AD at Florida has any sense.
