I was at the first game against the gauchos and he looked awful. glad to hear he's coming around.

He has presence when he is on the court. He just owns it.
My favorite player on the team. A gliding gazelle during the fast break. A fortress when defending the posts.
I love watching Tuba.

Yep. Fans get into it as well.
Look at the players on the court and bench when he makes a play.
I'm joking with my hyperbole about him, but he has earned minutes on this team. He needs to keep working on his conditioning for sure though.

I spotted this excerpt from a Scout.com article published Tuesday, but alas it's blocked by a paywall:
If anyone has a subscription would you mind posting some Cliff Notes?

Johnny Jones actually said today that he is seriously contemplating trying to appeal to the NCAA to get another year for C Andrew Del Piero.

man that would be great but I wonder if he'd have concerns about going back to walk-on status if he was granted another year. we'll be full on scholarships.

Apparently CJJ said this at the luncheon yesterday when someone asked about how many more guys he could sign. Said he has 2 more scholarships to fill and a third if ADP doesn't get 6th year. So he won't be going back to walk on status. Jones said he thought it was a long shot

he's at twelve now (without attrition) and you can only have 13.

I think one of these guys wont be here next year, which is how he is getting his number. I'll leave speculation up to who it will be, but I would bet it's a guy who rarely plays on the court now.
