For a good portion of TigerNation that post on this board, here's your chance, thanks for coming along with us this far.
Ba Bye.

For the rest, how does 10 and 2 sound?

10-2 sounds great, 9-3 is alright too, but just KNOWING without a doubt that you cant compete on an elite level is gut wrenching.

Was never on any bandwagon. Said from the beginning to finish the season, gather data and evaluate. Season still isn’t over.

We could compete with all the other teams in the top 10.

Bama is in a class of their own this year. And probably next year. This year was such a question mark. 6-6 seemed like a real possibility given the schedule before the season started. Yet we’re likely to go 10-2 and assclowns can’t get over a bama asswhooping. We’re not bama. We do not have bamas players. Muh talent. The talent is not equal right now get over it and be proud we may go 10-2 with multiple big wins.

We handled UGA, and were ranked #3 last week. We are playing at an Elite a level as any school, except Alabama. Stop your drama queen b.s. And yes, our offense does need to be better.

After an unexpected season of more wins than projected, cast against Bama’s total dominance of our team, it feels like a consolation prize at this point.

So beating Georgia by 20 is not competing at an elite level?

Do you guys not realize that if LSU goes 10-2 this year then that means they will have a better record against a tougher schedule than they did last year?

I get it we want to compete for national championships. I’m fine with that and keep those goals but if they finish with a 10-2 regular season that is what they call trending up and majority of the team is coming back next year.

I honestly think that LSU can win out to include the bowl game. I'm not guaranteeing it or anything. But I think it's possible

So much of this! I just don’t understand it at all. Idk about anyone else but that was the best, most complete (outside of kicking) football team I’ve ever seen in college football. The way we lost, I understand the frustration. But to say this season isn’t a positive step in the right direction, idk what everyone else is looking at.

We have the least amount of talent on offense than I can remember in some time. Marshall and chase may (and I think will) turn out to be great wrs. But we have no homerun threat this year. Our backs can’t do it and our best receivers are more possession style. Our oline is no good. But the staff is working on this. We may end up having a top 3 in the sec oline next year. I can’t wait!

People are still backing this fraud fricking "coach"?

My brother is a better coach in the Mississippi PSA scheme than the abomination in Baton Rouge.

Told y'all.

Being upset that we're the only team that Bama has shutout makes me a bandwagon fan?

The obsession with bandwagons here is amazing.

Great perspective! Don't how many folks though the Tigers would be in a position to go 10 - 2 this year, but not many I think.

I think we are a legit top 10 team and that ain’t bad. However I also think the gap between us and Bama has gotten wider and I don’t think there’s much Orgeron is able to do about it. The work necessary to manage that gap should have started in 2005. It didn’t.

10-2 regular season with a kick arse Bowl win would be the bare minimum acceptable scenario at this point.

It would be an "Improvement" over last season, but definitely not acceptable if your ultimate goal is to beat Bama and win the SEC West/SEC. (All the Pumper Pukes would be satisfied and satiated with 8-4 or 9-3 though; with mediocrity acceptance excuses flying out in all directions)

Coach O is the one that made it all about Bama. From his first day, to we coming, till now he has made it clear he has to compete with Bama. His coaching and recruiting have not gotten lsu any closer to that goal.

we held them to 29 points with zero offense. Ull put up 14, even if it wasn't against the starters it happened.

It will be a great season, but no matter how you spin it the season is gonna be based on did we beat/compete with bama.

We are not making any adjustments in our gameplan and it shows.

Sixth most difficult schedule in nation. And, considering the decimation of the DL & OL pretty good performance against top 10 teams.

I’m alright with 10-2, however, the season is far from over and don’t forget that we’ve beaten aTm like 7 straight, the law of averages is a bitch sometimes and aTm will beat us one of these days. Might not be this year but it will happen.

It’s hard to get over a losing streak this long against Alabama.
