The most suspicious thing from the game was the two flags that the officials picked up early in the game. There was the pass interference called on Alabama that the officials picked up. I personally don't think that there was blatant interference, but still, that flag does not get picked up ever unless the refs discuss it and rule that the ball was either uncatchable or that it was tipped at the line of scrimmage -- neither was the case on this play.

Later in the game, Bama got flagged for illegal formation. Danielson diagnosed it before the flag was even thrown. The refs got together, then CBS showed Saban talking to them, then Ritter walked away. Before Ritter announced that the flag for illegal formation was going to be picked up, it appears he's talking into his mic to someone (but I don't think he has a headset on the field). Regardless, they never showed the replay to see if the formation was legal, CBS just took the officials' word for it and went on with the game despite Bama looking confused pre-snap and Danielson saying that there was an illegal formation even as the ball was being snapped. Maybe Ritter and company got it right by disregarding the flag, I don't know. These two instances were mighty suspicious, nonetheless.

LSU aren't the only fans seeing this kind of stuff. Mike Pereira, former VP of officiating of the NFL, called into question similar plays in the Alabama-Tennessee game and Auburn-Mississippi State game. Pereira's piece can be found here.

LSU fans, if a bama fan ever says anything about us whining. Just remind them their fans tried to petition to play over time against Auburn after the game was over because they thought Davis had stepped out of bounds. The evidence they were using clearly showed he didn't.

I want Pereira to do a full breakdown of Refgate 2006, all of it's bad calls, no calls,etc..using a myriad of all CBS footage angles. I was there in person with friends.

I want full grades on Jeff Roberson and that game's Crew..

Refgate, unlike all these witch hunts like this thread,etc.., was truly a game not called on the square by at minimum some on that day's crew.

It really was insane. We had some BS happen every single drive.

We also had an interception that was very similar to our PI that got waived off. Somehow, the SEC said both calls were correct...

There were endless calls and no calls. Powers mugged WR in Endzone before the Half to break up easy TD(no call..would've been at minimum FG range..etc..)

Dyakowski phantom holding,etc..they get away with numerous late hits out of bounds..LSU gets called for them..etc..

If it wasn't for instant replay they would have taken away Malachi's TD which wasn't even that debatable to being out of bounds.

When looking at the list provided, it might also be insightful to denote what time span is covered.

If Bama wasn't in contention in a particular season, the numbers may be skewed. The refs don't have to "win the game" for Bama, just keep them in position to win it for themselves.

Do any of you see the ridiculousness of saying the ref in more of Bama's losses than any other ref is in the tank for Bama?

Hey Gump, you got your help from the officials last Saturday. If Alabama is so great, why does it continually need key calls or non-calls by the officials to win in big games?

Also, we still haven't gotten a straight answer as to why Alabama didn't go on the road to play Georgia in 2013 as it should have. Mark Womack (Alabama alum) gave you guys a gift.

I can tell you as a matter of fact that no female with the last name of Ritter and who's home address is in TN is currently attending the University of Alabama.

Damn, Cracker sure did throw out a conspiracy theory about Ritter's day job--and then disappeared really fast.

Do you not see this as a problem? (LOL)

I also have a close personal friend, whose uncle ref'd in the SEC, he's now a replay official "observer".....doesn't make the calls but oversees the process. He has been to our tailgates after games......he played for an SEC school also, but he can't call games involving his former school.

If he is a former Florida player calling Georgia and Tennessee games would still be ok. Auburn grab calling Georgia and Bama ok. Jesus this is beyond fricked up :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Yes. This. Time to turn the tricking page already. To still be talking about referees, their families, and all other assorted bullshite 4 days after the game is just whiny, bitchy, and other things that we complain about other fan bases doing.

You know, since the refs are on Bama's payroll, they sure did almost frick up the game huh? I mean, LSU was in the position to win the game! How can them damn Bama refs do that??? How, with all of their corruption and bias, can they possibly allow their beloved Tide be down with under a MINUTE to go in the game? Especially when you consider that Bama's offense wasn't doing shite. What was it..one 1st down all half?

Oh let me guess, the guy who threw the PF flag on Vadal Alexander, in just a matter of seconds, realized that A) we were about to kick the ball out of bounds and B) our defense, which was balling out that point, was about to just collapse. He KNEW that was bound to happen so he threw the flag and his work was done.

If they did indeed see her there, they might not know it--I have Bama friends who still say Patrick Peterson was out of bounds on the interception he made in the 2009 Bama-LSU game.

Tom Ritter is the only official in the USA that requires Patrick Peterson to have 3 feet in on an interception.

Ive watched that play over 100 times and PP did in fact get 3 feet in bounds. Caught it with a foot in. Then took a step and dragged a toe.
