Lee is going to throw INT's and make some poor decisions BUT he IS the best option we have, no doubt. Perhaps time will see him mature (after all he is a young man) and grow exponentially. I'm really hoping that is what happens.

Remember folks Lee or JJ will, again, be the QB next year, too. With JJ showing little to no progress over his years at LSU it's time to try the alternative.

Well if we get that Mettenberger kid, he may have a chance to start immediately, but we will see.

I'm not going to much stock into a guy who is currently at junior college and hasn't played in an SEC game. It'll be JL '08 all over again. You just can't put an inexperienced guy in the starting SEC QB roles and expect him to be a Heisman candidate. He'll struggle.

Jefferson will start against Florida, and when lsu is down 10 points in the 4th, les will send lee in on 3rd and 17 and tell him to go win it for miles.

You sound like my buddy. He loves Lee because Lee loves giving the ball to Alabama.

Your coaches NEVER let him get into a rhythm. He makes your offense much more of a threat due to the fact that he can actually stretch the field and hit receivers in stride. If the coaches just said, Lee you're the guy and we're behind you 100% I bet his confidence level would skyrocket. Seriously, how difficult can the coaches make it for him? Yesterday they stick him in on a 3rd and 12, what is that? Sure he's going to throw his INT's, but he'll also complete more passes downfield and the more experience he gets the less mistakes he's going to make. They shouldn't put it all on Lee though, why not implement a package with Shepard at QB? Most of Lee's troubles take play in the redzone, so why not just put Shepard in the wildcat from time to time, God forbid let him even throw a few passes and see what happens.

I mean, I like that argument, but I feel like I heard it in 2008.

Fact is that both of them pose a risk. If that is the case, then I agree we should go with Lee because he gives us a chance.

His attitude is a problem also, he just doesn't seem like much of a team player. IMO his ego is way above his actual skill level.

You're giving these guys too much credit. You think they actually plan anything?

ACL, you're asking all the same questions we've been asking since the first half of the UNC game. It truly defies all logic and fundemental football knowledge to see how Les and Crowton handle the offense, from play-calling to substitutions and ignorance of down and distance at times.

If I have to listen to Coach Clown try to explain one more time why certain players don't get the ball, don't see the field or get pulled after they've done well, I think I'll puke.

It's obvious to anyone with at least one functioning brain cell left that JJ is not and never has been a QB. Lee wasn't great yesterday, and he wasn't perfect, but he showed us glimpses of what LSU's offense can be.

Still, I have this nagging feeling that JJ will get the start in Gainesville and we will see that retarded QB rotation we saw yesterday ad nauseum. I swear, JJ must have some incredible dirt on Miles. No other explanation suffices for why JJ sees the field much less starts.
