I think stunted his growth is accurate. The thing that gets me is he is missing on passes that most high school QB's can make and I think it is half and half mechanical and mental. He's guiding his passes much like a pitcher guides his pitches and that is the worst thing you can do. Guiding the ball is kind of a natural human reaction to wanting to be accurate but the coaches should have worked that out of him by now.
Whatever the reason what would it hurt sitting JJ for the first half of the UT game and seeing if Lee can move the team. If not put JJ back in the 2nd half and maybe he does better coming off the bench. That would give him a chance to watch the game and come in fresh.

You didn't seem to be making a joke - you "sounded" sarcastic. If it's a joke, please explain because I didn't and still don't get it.

I played this game at the collegiate level and realize things that the average fan does not.
Well, I guess I better just quit talking college football. I don't meet the qualifications.

So you really don't think that he owes the fans anything? The loyal fans who spend tons of money year after year on this program, and not to mention its because of the fans that he gets his 3.8 million dollar salary!
He doesn't. Why the frick do people think that the coaches have to succumb to their every request as a fan?? Should he call up every individual fan, of the 92.000 that were there last night, personally and ask them "Hey, what should I do to fix this offense?" ?
That is the most retarded stance anyone could ever take.
The only people he owes anything to is the school who is paying him, whether it is money from fans fueling his check or not, and the talented young men that he has a legit shot at taking to a championship (should he figure something out at QB)..

If Miles wants to keep his job we need atleast two national championships. ATLEAST!

Mike:
I have a strong suspicion that I know who you are, and if I'm correct, then your claim that if Les loses you, he's lost the fan base, is a classic understatement. Many thanks for so eloquently expressing what many feel, but lack the composure to articulately display, as you most certainly have. A must read for any Tiger fan.

I guess you didn't watch Miles' interview after the game huh? This guy cannot answer a freakin question to save his life. The fans deserve a guy who can represent the school and team the right damn way!

quote:The entire letter is well-thought out and well-expressed. I hilighted the last sentence to gain some clarity. Change as I see it will need to happen in two areas:
You have to make the change. For the good of the team, please do it.
1)Immediate - as in let JJ sit out, starting versus Tennessee, and play JL or someone with some background in QB position.
2)Not as immediate (but soon), find us and hire an OC who can build on the talent you have recruited and take it to championship competition levels.

Wow! That says it all. Great post...I am with you 100%. As someone stated earlier, buy space in the newspapers - it must be heard.
