This was my first year to follow the basketball team closely.

I don’t care for the sport (or didn’t), but I got caught up in the excitement. (Still hate those frickin’ BB refs...worse refs ever).

This team is special. And I hate the season has to be over-shadowed by this bs.

Not sure if I’m disinterested as much as disheartened.

Shouldn’t have to feel that way leading up to the tourney.

Thanks, LSU admin.

Hope we whip some arse.

we blew out vandy and played Florida like we did the other two times with wade. obviously we need wade to be at full potential but this is an overreaction. this is the hand we were dealt and im ridin til the mf wheels fall off

Don’t watch. Not one cares. Cheer football r another program. But their gear and wear it proudly.

Then go fishing or something. But don’t come here if you can’t support the team and that includes whoever is coaching on an interim basis.

I’ll be watching but won’t expect much from the team. I love the talent but this guy is just awful.

It is what it is. The Tigers will play the way they have all season long.
Here’s the thing. Florida had a huge advantage at the free throw line. Wade works the refs all game long giving LSU a fair shake at the penalty stripe.

From what I noticed in the tournament game Benfort was pretty invisible. He needs to make up for the loss of Wade and get engaged.
Didn’t it seem the team played with lack of energy and sufficient focus in the second half?

If we manage to make it to the Sweet 16 we are going to face Izzo and coach K. We have talent but we will be at a disadvantage.

Benford is a great guy and good coach, but If anyone thinks Benford is a great gameday coach, well its not worth the time addressing them.

Good news is our boys have already been molded.

Bad news: In order to beat Tom Izzo and Coach K you’ll probably need a great gameday coach. We will find out soon.

quote:

I’ve already seen this brand of basketball with JJ for far too long and I just cannot support it. Uninspired, lazy undisciplined. Its just hard to stomach the regression after having a perfectionist at head coach and being so close to relevancy again. Definitely puts a huge dark cloud over the tournament

So, when LSU loses under the leadership of a black coach the play is “uninspired, lazy, undisciplined.” How do you characterize the losses this year with Wade on the bench?
