Regional (and 1st week of Omaha): Jump and Holman get you games 1 and 2, then you sit and wait while the other teams use their 3rd starters in the elimination game. Then, Hurd vs their midweek staff.

This has been proven false multiple times. Seeding of the two teams advancing, if they are not the national seeds, is irrelevant. The NCAA decides the host by bid process.

If you assume LSU is already in the NCAA Tournament, then you don't have to wait for the conclusion of the SEC Tournament. LSU is five wins away from Omaha NOW. Same for Georgia, (probably) Alabama, and many others.
Winning the SEC Tournament would remove any doubt of LSU being in the NCAA Tournament. But if you feel they have done enough to be an at large the rest of the SECT games, while fun to watch, are largely irrelevant.

This. We would have to win first 2 to have a decent shot. One could say that is true every year, but more so this year than most. Same for the Regional.
