What a way to show our fanbase on national TV. The stadium was literally empty by the time the whistle blowed.

and let me guess, nowhere else in the country do some fans leave before the game is over when it becomes obvious that it is out of hand...

Wait until the Troy and Tunlane games. In the 90's there were a lot of empty seats for these rent a wins Not just at the end.

It's embarrassing, but it's more embarrassing to see Tiger Stadium and fans like that on national TV.

I guess it is not as bad as the South Carolina fans leaving with there team only down one score with a chance to get the ball back, but if the players have to stay the whole game during a bad loss, I'm staying during a bad loss. I won't disrespect them by bailing on them.

When did it get out of hand? We were down 14 with the ball inside the UGA 20yd line with 6 minutes left in the game.

Our fanbase is fricking pathetic. We couldn't even bother to get the place full for Pregame.

I've come to the conclussion that our fanbase isn't even in the national top 10 anymore.

We are to purest example of fair weather fans.

And tiger stadium has really fallen off. The facilty itself needs alot of improvement, as do the fans who sit in it. Student section is terrible now.

I've left 1 LSu game(home and away) early prior to this one, Virginia Tech with 50 seconds left, but I had to leave this one early. I left with 5 minutes left because I couldnt stay and watch another team's fan base celebrate in Tiger Stadium.

Maybe this a way to protest the crappy defensive coaching. If it weren't for empty seats, Joe dean would have never fired Curley.

After we didn't convert on that 4th down was when the rest of the fans left. I stayed the whole game in the SS, but honestly did you think our defense was going to be able to make the stops to allow our offense to win the game even though we were only down by 14?

Fans should support their team through thick and thin like we have the past 10 years.

Signed, Tampa Bay (Devil) Ray fans

Well the Tiger Stadium looked like the Georgia dome, the only fans that stayed were the Georgia fans. Embarrassing.

I would have to agree here. The Tigers were trying to come back in the fourth quarter and almost got there. And Slo Flo, that is one sorry arse excuse. The team came in at 5-1 on the year and should have had support for the entire game. How do you think it made the team feel watching all their fans get up and leave on em? They were playing Georgia. Come on man.

Actually, you are seeing what I said would happen when the TAF fee hit and the ticket prices started to rise. The die hard fans of old, Joe the Plumber, can't afford to go, but corporations and fair weathered fans with alot of money to spend on tickets are filling the seats. This is what happens when money becomes more important than tradition and fan base. It's gonna get worse becuase the prices are on their way up again next year and the economy is gonna squash alot more old timers. Not saying that a few like me haven't, and won't stick around, but there are a hell of alot less of us. They say we need to have the funds they are raising to compete. Well, this is what comes with it. Get ready for alot more empty games.

I noticed as soon as I got on campus yesterday how subdued the entire place was (we were between PMac and TS). Called a friend over by the Parade Grounds, and she said the same thing-UGA fans everywhere, and not a Tiger Bait to be heard. Don't know if it was a sense of foreboding (in my case), or the afternoon start leading to morning drinking that not many are practiced at...
