With the recent success of the Football team, B-Ball getting underway and much to look forward to, has Alleva's status reverted back to "safe"? Or is he still in the HOT SEAT???

If I was put on the board of directors and was told we needed to fire 2 people, I'd fire Alleva, hire him back, then fire him again.

If the SEC wasnt a shite show this year, we'd be .500. So no, Alleva doesnt get a pass because the conference is down.

Alleva still can't manage gameday parking and he's part of the group that is working to destroy gameday culture on campus...

Whether or not Coach O ends up being successful his hiring is considered a failure to me in terms of Alleva. He mismanaged both the firing of Les Miles (which should have been done) and the the hiring of the most important position in the athletic department. The position that all other sports rely on. He put all his faith in two candidates and then made a knee jerk decision on someone that is not a proven winner to a top tier program. That is inexcusable. Now I think Coach O may be successful with the coordinators he has on staff. It takes a while to implement schemes and personnel to fit in a new system. I like what I am seeing in how the coordinator are adjusting to opponents. But Alleva took a huge gamble that he shouldn't have with an unproven coach, but I hope it pays off. Still inexcusable for an athletic director.

Think he got the wade hire right. At least we ended up with someone with a proven track record.
