Alleva should be fired asap he let this shite happened under his watch. Johnny Jones is a fricking goon and rolled with it.
This is the 2nd time he fricked up.. first with the duke scandal, now this shite. Bye Felicia

I am all for firing Alleva but how would the university know if a player got money under the table from an agency?

What was Louisville's reasons for letting their AD go? I didn't follow it closely but was there more going on than this just "happening on his watch"? I want to guess not since so many people wanted LSU to hire the guy.

That also involved Petino getting kickbacks from shoe companies, hookers, strippers, improper benefits to recruits. Louisville was a Pandora's box that is way more than agents paying money.

Louisville was much deeper into this than just a couple players taking money from an agent.

Oh I know that, but was their AD involved at all? Or was that just too much to let slide for the guy who was supposed to be overseeing it all?

A coach will be able notice when his player's lifestyle suddenly changes. It's not like any college student would get $16K and tuck it away in a mutual fund. If any college kid gets this kind of money, people around them 5-6 hours a day are going to know it.

I don't like him either but this isn't grounds for his dismissal. It's just wishful thinking.
