So, are you suggesting that higher ups have told Alleva to just renew her until they can get a new AD and we'll let him do the firing and the search?
That's a pretty optimistic spin, but there is a new BOS.
If you are willing to entertain that prospect, it is not too big a leap to speculate that they anticipate a new search for football, as well.
Some would not see it that way, but that would be sheer Positiger thinking....

I know a number of folks who have served and are currently serving. Some of the folks appointed to the position are just figureheads who will rubber stamp whatever they are told.
But some are very smart and independent minded. I actually have some hope that the new group will be an improvement over what we have seen in the past.

Lets hope so
JA is running many programs at LSU down into the ground, and the appointees continue to sign off on everything with recklessness
Maybe they will shock the world on Friday and tell Alleva that he is out his frickin mind and send a big fat no answer back on the extension.

It would be surprising to me if the new members of the board come out aggressively in their first meeting, but some of these folks are pretty sophisticated. I just wonder if they will feel they have enough facts to challenge Alleva in their first meeting. I feel confident that he will not get a free pass once they get their feet under them.
I have no inside information, but I would feel better if JBE had plans to replace F. King, which would allow us to clean house.

The only thing these folks understand is money....I’ve dropped 4 football season tickets and refuse to give an extra cent outside of what’s mandatory until some serious changes are made. People who are still giving only condone this shitty management.
