I was going to ask the same thing. Not doubting, but don't know enough to question why no one us doubting his word.
Guys, this is just what I've heard from talking to a couple of people who usually know what's going on up there.
It's entirely possible that these two folks are all wet and have the wrong story completely. Don't swear me in on this stuff. But this is the most reliable stuff I've heard so far since this thing started, and one of the two told me Trent was leaving for TCU two days before it hit anywhere on the internet.
I'm as curious to find out whether this pans out as you guys are. Hopefully it does. But it's what I've heard from folks I trust, so I believe it (at least for now).

Pitt just got a big time transfer from Central Michigan on Saturday. I thought for sure once that happened that Dixon was staying at Pitt...

There are flights from the main Pitt airport to the main Atlanta, all commercial. Which as previously stated is probably how he would have made the trip if it happened.

She never graduated from LSU, that I could find, but may have attended. Doesn't say where she went to undergraduate.
Everything I have seen says she is from Hawaii and met Dixon when he was coaching there. Her parents still live there. She could originally be from Louisiana, however.

I think the Pastner news is refreshing too.
I'm cool with Pastner as the back-up plan. He may not be Dixon, but I think most LSU fans would get pretty excited about Pastner too.
