That's how every guy that realizes he's lucky to still have a job, any job, acts when they get asked to step aside.
That's called getting humbled, not acting with class.

If I were about to check out on the state of Louisiana and get paid $150k+ from the state’s retirement system until the day I die (no risk, who cares what the S&P does) , I’d have a lot of class too!

And what about those who worked everyday with Alleva?

Wasn't reported people in the athletic department would go weeks without seeing him?

I supported and Alleva for years based on what he was going for non revenue sports. He really does deserve credit for elevating LSU into a more complete athletic department. People seem to forget that 80% of our national championships are in track from a coach Skip Bertman let leave.

With that said how Alleva handled the football coaching search was what did me in. Fargas was a great hire on paper, same with Trent Johnson. Johnny was cheap low risk, high reward kind of hire. However Orgeron is proving me wrong on that end too.

Now I’m just salty af Alleva extended mainieri through 2024? That’s longer than the entire next presidential cycle good fricking grief

Can’t tell if the lady behind Joe in that GIF is even alive but it’s a classic

Now come on. JA might have been a terrible AD and thank god he's gone, but he's about as swampy as they come. And swampy people like him generally do act with professionalism and class.

In fact, sometimes I wished he would get in the mud a little bit and fight to protect his programs.
